Let’s focus on the word synergy for a moment.
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, synergy is defined as the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.
As women, we are powerfully capable beings who are fearfully and wonderfully made to bring forth the works of God. We can be immensely influential when we come together, or synergize. One woman’s prayers are strong, but a group of unified women strategically praying purposeful, passionate, intelligent prayers is a force to be reckoned with.
Far too often, women choose to compete against each other whether it’s in the way we look, having a fabulous house, or stepping on people to move up in careers. Let’s admire each other’s individual beauty and make our homes a warm welcoming place for community. Let’s stop using people for self-promotion and start working together for a greater cause.
When we are fully awake in our purpose and pray strategically, the enemy views us as dangerous. Satan will fill our minds with doubts in an attempt to sedate our passionate determination, but there is no strength in passion without purpose and strategy. We need to compete against our doubts instead of each other because when we synergize, strategies become stronger. Let’s bring our strategies together and build one another up for it is time to war against injustice with ferocity.
As a mother, I can be more intentional with my sons when they are specific with me about their needs. It would be difficult to help them if they never told me exactly what they needed. In the same way, God wants us to pray deliberately so that He can answer in direct ways. This is the type of prayer that motivates people because they can see God in action.
I want to encourage you to surround yourself with women who will fiercely nurture your vision to God’s glory as we read in Romans.
“Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Rom. 15:5-6, NKJV).
May we be a sisterhood of women who live dangerously awake and embrace one another so as to magnify God’s name.
