Kayla Stoecklein found her refuge in God as she honored her husband during his memorial service over the weekend.
“The presence has been so thick the past few weeks,” Stoecklein said. “He is near, and He cares.”
Stoecklein’s husband, Andrew, committed suicide last month.
Inland Hills Church invited the community to his memorial service on Sept. 8.
“Because of Andrew’s story, people who were once planning on taking their own life have changed their minds. Because of his story, pastors and leaders have been able to open up about their depression and anxiety,” Kayla said during the service.
“If you are struggling, tell somebody. The enemy wants you to feel isolated, unloved and worthless. I’m here to tell you that you are loved and valued more than you will ever know.”
