For 16 years, a diabetic issue had stolen Carolyn’s sight. She had a glass eye and was completely blind in the other one.
Desperate for a touch from the Lord, her friend drove her to the miracle service at House of Glory from over an hour away. She wanted healing for her blind eye to see.
Carolyn and her friend approached the altar where I was ministering healing to those present. As I saw her being pushed down the aisle in her chair, my eyes focused on her great need. The compassion of the Lord filled my heart as her gentle expression pleaded for mercy.
She removed her glass eye out of the socket.
I looked at her face and placed my hands upon her cheeks. I prayed once.
Nothing changed.
I prayed a second time, and she was able to see my hand in front of her face.
I prayed again, and each time I prayed, her sight increased!
Under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, I prayed for her blind eye to open. In Mark 8, Jesus prayed not once but twice for a blind man, and at first, the man said, “I see men as trees walking” (Mark 8:24). Jesus then prayed a second time, and the man was fully restored and saw everyone clearly (Mark 8:25).
We witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit upon Carolyn! She came in blind but left seeing by the power of God!
She was healed instantly in the glory! The power of God to heal is available today.
The friend who brought her was like the friends of the paralytic man in Mark 2. The four friends brought the paralytic in on a mat to see Jesus, but there was no room to enter the front door. Determined to see their friend healed, they made a hole in the roof and lowered their friend down to see Jesus.
The paralytic was healed that day, for faith was present to heal.
What miracle do you need? Jesus the healer wants to touch you and heal you. Healing has been purchased by His blood. Are you ready to receive?
Your need may not be physical healing but emotional healing. Your need may be relational or financial healing. Remember, the power of God to heal is present for you! Call upon His name; He is mighty to save, heal and deliver His children out of bondage and into His wonderful light.
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 says, “My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
Let the power of God come upon you to be healed by the Holy Spirit who is present to heal now.
When the power of God invades the power of darkness, miracles happen.
