God promised divine health to those who not only hear His commands but are faithful to obey them. Our heavenly Father’s redeeming provision for us is as vast as the consequences of the fall: He provides forgiveness for sin, eternal life for death, and healing for sickness. What an awesome God we serve!
Jesus revealed God’s will in action as He went to the cities and villages around Galilee “healing every sickness and every disease” (Matthew 9:35), and His atoning death on the Cross sealed the matter: we have been redeemed, spirit, soul, and body.
Once you have a revelation of Jehovah-Rophe—the Lord who heals all our diseases—no infirmity, sickness nor disease will ever have power over you again. God’s will for you is health. God’s provision for your healing is the blood of Jesus Christ—by His stripes you are healed.
Heal me, Jesus. Heal my hurts and brokenness.
Heal my diseases. Heal my emotions.
Heal my body. O Great Physician,
You are the healing balm
of my life. Amen.
