What if God gave you a dream in the night that inspired you to create something to change the world? Guess what; that’s exactly what He is doing all over the world! If you want that for yourself, lean in.
Growing up, Shawn Bolz told God, “I need to see evidence of Your love translated to the world around me.” He knew he had to get outside the box of the church and see if God’s kingdom could transform other spheres of the world that aren’t inherently Christian. Could God impact a red-light district? The medical field? The entertainment industry? He began to believe for a kingdom thrust to see God’s love impact others in a powerful way in all spheres of society.
The world is waiting for solutions to problems they’re actually asking about. And God-inspired ideas not only create finances and resources, as well as create fundamental changes in an industry; they are part of a greater vision!
The same creative power that God used to form the world is what gives the entrepreneur the design or new technology; it’s not a separate power. God’s creativity is the same power that inspires all spheres of society. People are encountering God in really profound ways. He’s pouring out dreams and visions for creative inventions.
There are people all over the world who acknowledge that what they are doing is a result of God showing it to them supernaturally. This includes individuals in the marketplace such as farmers, politicians, teachers, doctors, lawyers, venture capitalists and more! They have discovered what they are wired for and they identify what God showed up for in their lives. He has designed them for something unique and different. God wants to use masses of people in the marketplace to bring Him glory!
How can you embrace the current supernatural move of God?
1. Embrace a childlike hunger to encounter God as He wants to reveal Himself.
2. Pray for your customers and your products to impact the world!
3. Look for God’s love and His heart everywhere you go.
4. Pay attention to impressions, intuitions and gut-checks. That is the Holy Spirit speaking to you!
5. Apply the Bible to your life and translate it to be useful for the world around you.
