Did you know that when people talk of Christianity as a world religion, they are quite wrong? A religion is a system, and Jesus left no system. It is more than just a faith to be believed. The real thing is actually divine power in action.
Christian truth cannot simply be written down like so many facts or definitions. Christian truth is alive. You cannot write a person down and say, “That’s her!” You cannot write Christianity down and say, “That’s it!” It is a living entity.
The breath of God animates the gospel, or it is a dead body of truth instead of living truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). That is how I know it, and that is how I preach it. Who would not want to preach a gospel like that?

That is what I do—the gospel of Christ is alive, so I go into a stadium and let the gospel do its own thing, and everybody can see it is alive. That is what the Holy Spirit does.
