It’s Time To Have Ridiculous Faith

There is no such thing as real faith unless it is attached to an action (James 2:17-20). If you really have biblical faith, you’ll always be inclined to do something to demonstrate your faith. The problem is that most people (ministers included) are scared silly to do things that the majority of people might think are a bit different by their standards.

For instance, most Christians have never seen or attempted to cast a demon out of a person. Most have never laid hands on the sick for their healing from God. Most people try to shy away from the image that people will have of them if they do what God says to do. I’m sorry to tell you that you will never do anything worthwhile for God if you have that poor and fearful attitude. When God infuses your soul with faith and His power to do the miraculous, you are going to be a very visible target for the enemy—all the time.

God has already made it clear in His Word that He has given you the job description to heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons. These are controversial with people. The Lord will allow you to be criticized. God does this for two reasons: The first is that God can’t do anything great unless you take the action to do something for Him. Second, God wants to establish in you the fact that opinions of others in the world do not matter to you as much as God’s opinion of you. What God says means more than anything to you and that settles it. That’s the kind of bold and committed attitude that God is looking for you to have. He wants you to have ridiculous faith!

In every generation, you will always have skeptics and critics of faith and the power of God, and most of them are disguised as believers. But you and I both know that they really don’t believe; they are simply religious. They’ll say that in this dispensation, miracles and healing do not happen as they did in Bible times anymore. They are absolutely wrong! God’s outpouring today will be even greater than it was in Bible days. You can make the choice now to be a part of that outpouring! You can cast out every spirit of fear and join all of those who are hungry for God and want to see Him move! God’s Spirit will just come down like rain.

In this last move of God, I believe we will see so many healings and miracles that not seeing them would be odd. Today, if you have been tolerating any type of pain, sickness, disease or physical torment, Jesus Christ is here to heal you. He died for this very opportunity that you can take to receive your healing now. {eoa}
