With ever-conflicting viewpoints represented on different news media across the world, many are left feeling confused, lost and more worried than ever about COVID-19. Perhaps, Dr. Mark Sherwood says, we may need to look at this situation from a different perspective.
Could the coronavirus actually be a gift in disguise? Find out on this episode of Healthcare’s Missing Link on the Charisma Podcast Network.
Based on Scriptures such as Romans 8:28 and Romans 5:3-5, Sherwood says we can see there is a correlation in what was going on in Jesus’ time and what is going on now with this virus. When looking at Romans 8:28, he says, “if we believe that the coronavirus is included in all things,” and Romans 5:3-5 “also says we’re going to have sufferings” then “we need to get to the point where we understand that everything has the potential to generate hope, and everything has the potential to work out for our good.”
“When you’re in a quandary, you have to go back to what has stood the test of time,” Dr. Mark Sherwood says. “And [those are] the words of God Himself.”
Sherwood suggests, “Maybe this is an opportunity for us to see weakness and really do something about it.”
