Recently on Live Your Best Life with Liz Wright, Liz shares a holy invitation from Jesus which has been unfolding in her International Mentoring Community. She speaks on resetting our gaze and where Jesus is taking us now as the bride of Christ. Reading from Song of Songs 4, Liz releases this invitation from Jesus’ heart to us as His bride. Jesus is saying to each of us right now, “Every part of you is so beautiful, my darling. Perfect is your beauty, without flaw within. Now you are ready, my bride, to come with me as we climb the highest peaks together. Come with me through the archway of trust” (Song 4:7-8, TPT).
This is a call to abandon all that we are to Him, surrendering ourselves and trusting Him even in the midst of suffering. Liz says, “Jesus wants you to experience Him afresh, in such a way that He becomes the solution for you.” Whether you are personally going through a challenging situation or your loved ones are experiencing struggles, every care and concern in your heart can be surrendered to Him as you walk through the archway of trust with Jesus.”
Liz encourages us to turn our gaze from the situations that trouble us and fix our gaze on Christ who is within us. Separation is a deception; we are one with Christ now. Resetting our focus internally shifts us into a place of confident trust where we behold the supremacy of who He is—the glorious Christ within. As you do this, you will be freed up from the exhaustive process of trying to cope with life in your own strength. You will find that Jesus Himself becomes your source and strength.
