A new thing happened. As I started a healing service and encouraged the people by reading a story concerning William Branham’s life, the same anointing that was on William Branham all those years ago fell on me.
God had spoken to William Branham and told him that “if he would be sincere and get the people to believe him, nothing would stand in the way of his prayer for the sick.” God also told him that “he would begin to know the secrets of men’s hearts and this would also increase their faith and people would believe him.”
I looked up from reading a chapter to the people and saw a woman I had never met before. I immediately knew that her left knee needed healing. She confirmed it, and got out of her seat and walked toward me as I requested. I prayed and got her not just one new knee but both. Suddenly, I knew there was a job that she had always wished she could have but could not apply for it because of her knee issues. I told her this information and she responded that this was true. I then knew that she was at a crossroads and told her so.
The crossroads was that she had been getting government aid for disability and if she got a job, she would no longer get the government check. She, again with fear and trembling, admitted this was true. I encouraged her to go for the new life; that God wanted to promote her in her life and that she needed to thank Him for the healing, and go out and apply for the job. I told her let go of the government funding because God wanted to bless her beyond it.
I was so in awe of what God had just done through me. I realized that the anointing that was on William Branham had just come on me by reading his book! You get what you talk about. If you talk about the goodness of God and mediate on it, that is what you will get. If you are always negative and comparing negative stories of pain, sickness and lack with your friends, that is what you will get. We must learn to fly with the eagles and only speak good things so that God can bless us the way He has clearly spoken in His Word that He desires to do. I got down on the floor with my head in the carpet and praised and thanked Him. My congregation followed my leading and did the same. We were all in awe! {eoa}
