Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: Old Things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. —2 Corinthians 5:17
The process of exchange begins with repentance—the only passport recognized at the gates of His kingdom. To repent means “to turn from.” You turn from your sin to His forgiveness; your pain to His healing; your lack to His abundance.
God’s Word gives you a new realization of your resources: You are a child of more, not of less. You are a child of provision, not of poverty.
God’s Word requires you to submit your will to His. The greatest barriers to His blessing are stubbornness and conceit. Believing we have all the answers doesn’t give God room to work.
God’s Word requires you to control your emotions. Self-discipline, combined with God’s abundance, brings good stewardship.
Abundance begins with obedience. Accept God’s authority over your life, and allow Him to do His transforming work in your mind.
Lord Jesus, transform me. Renew my mind
so that my every thought will be of and from You.
Keep me in Your perfect will. Amen.
