We know a recession is coming, but God is going to use it to cause His people to transition. He has new opportunities for many, new relationships and places to live for some.
We will see a huge transfer of people from one city to another, from one church to another.
A Financial Famine
A famine is coming financially over different parts of the world and for some, God is using the season of lack to put some of you into a place to make decisions you would have never made if you were comfortable.
He sometimes allows a level of lack to bring you into decision making, to bring you into new places that you would have never gone if you weren’t forced there. I heard TD Jakes refer to this once and say “Joseph’s brothers would have never gone to Egypt to change the destiny of Israel if it wasn’t for the famine…there they found their brother who was positioned in greatness for the fulfillment of God’s dream.”
Some of you are going into a new land to get the provision you are called to. Some of you will find yourself in a new relational sphere, a new career, a new city.
The Pivot
There is a global moving of shifting people around in cities, neighborhoods, states, countries because He is divinely setting up the world for a great harvest.
There is a pivot and transition for many to make in this season before the coming recession. Some of you don’t know why but God is saying sell the house, change the investment, move to a new city, change careers, start the business, go to a new church.
We are going to see some people who were staples of their community, politicians who were serving in lands for decades, celebrities who were tied to places like LA and Nashville, pastors who thought they were going to die in their city, move and transition into new places. There is a global moving of people that is going to be like a resetting of a giant chess board so that what God has planned can not be put into check by the spirits who have already been defeated.
Warning
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9, ESV).
My warning is you have to obey God’s inner promptings in this season because it will affect the way that you are blessed in the next. God is requiring a surrender of what many of you thought your life would look like, would be like, but it is a divine set up. If you don’t listen, if He speaks to you and you don’t pivot you can find yourself outside of the blessing of God, outside the sphere of favor He has for you, outside the river of His presence for you.
The Narrow Way
“Enter through the narrow gate because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction—nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life—so few even find it!” (Matthew 7:13-14, TPT).
He is speaking to many of you, and obedience will bring you through a narrow way, but it will bring you to a destination you couldn’t have imagined.
In the wilderness when God asks you to make a change or when he allows the opportunity to dry up or the finances to start to be just enough, He will make a way in the wilderness of this and streams in the wasteland that will lead you to a place of abundance that you were not anticipating. You aren’t used to this because its new to you, don’t pretend you have been here before. Don’t overestimate your past experience in this current situation but be dependant on His Spirit to lead you.
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19).
I pray for those of you in this transition to have hearing ears, discerning hearts, and wisdom.
