But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. —2 Corinthians 3:18, NAS
While Jesus walked on Earth, His glory was veiled in human flesh. Veils were used in the Bible to hide the glory of God. A veil was put over Moses’s face to hide the glory, a veil hid the holy of holies and glory of God in the tabernacle, and the writer of Hebrews spoke of the “veil, that is, His flesh” (Heb. 10:20, NAS). In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul discusses one other veil that hides the glory of God. It is the veil that covers the heart and prevents a person from beholding the glory of Christ.
{ PRAYER STARTER }
Father, I do not want anything to hide the revelation of Your glory from my life. Remove the veil that covers my heart and prevents me from seeing You as You are.
The revelation of the true knowledge of
the glorified Christ will transform you.
