This catastrophic event saw the Port of Baltimore shut down and is expected to have a devastating impact on the area for both commuters and cargo haulers.
To date, there are two confirmed fatalities and a total of six suspected deaths caused by the bridges collapse, however salvage crews need to continue work before rescue and recovery efforts can continue, according to the AP.
Planet Fitness Loses $400M After Revoking Christian Woman’s Membership
A major national fitness chain’s stock value plummeted after Americans took issue with how it handled its transgender locker room policy.
Planet Fitness saw a $400 million dive in valuation from $5.3 billion to $4.9 billion just days after a Fairbanks, Alaska, branch revoked a woman’s membership for taking photo evidence of a male using the women’s locker room.
Patricia Silva posted a video on Facebook to “bring awareness to her community” because she was shocked to find a man in the women’s bathroom at Planet Fitness.
TD Jakes Named in Lawsuit Against Diddy
In the wake of a Homeland Security raid on rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ estates in Los Angeles and Miami, a list of celebrity names has been revealed in court filings for a lawsuit against Combs.
On that list is senior pastor of the Dallas-area megachurch The Potter’s House, Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Media outlet Newsweek listed the celebrities appearing alongside Bishop Jakes in the lawsuit:
