(PART 1)
God, through His Son, Jesus, took it upon Himself to make a way for us to receive the gift of eternal life. Our goal, then, is not to live each day in defeat, as though our salvation must be earned over and over again, but to rejoice that we have a testimony of God’s gracious love and mercy poured out upon us. We stand forgiven in Him.

HEART ISSUE: In what circumstance (other than salvation) has the grace of God been manifested in your life?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, I thank You that as I walk in the truth of who I am in You, I will be better equipped as Your vessel to minister to others. You give me strength for the moment, the day and the week. It is Your holy presence, God, that fills me afresh and washes me anew. Thank You for every opportunity to share my story of all that Christ has done in my life. Amen.
(PART 2)
Before Christ’s atoning death on the cross, Scripture says the enemy of our souls held within his grasp the power of death. Satan effectively used this as a means of holding mankind captive to fear. However, by overcoming the grave, Jesus destroyed Satan’s power and the hold he’d exerted over us. Thanks be to God for this awesome victory He wrought for us. Christ’s triumph is ours!
HEART ISSUE: We are made to be dead to sin and alive in Christ because of Calvary. If we have victory over sin, what does “do not let sin reign in your mortal body” mean to you?
PRAYER FOCUS: Father, I thank You for the special times of refreshing I have with You. It is in communion with Your Spirit that I am cleansed, nurtured and made whole. Thank You for the work of transformation in my life. Teach me every day to focus on Christ, and let the things of this world come to hold less attraction for me. Amen.
