(PART 1)
Our past wounds and weaknesses give Satan a potential advantage over us. We need to understand where we are vulnerable so we may defend ourselves against evil schemes.
READ Ps. 51:3-17; Luke 21:8-19; 1 Cor. 6:9-12; 2 Cor. 12:7-10; Gal. 6:7-10; Heb. 5:1-14.
HEART ISSUE Do you know where you are vulnerable to being deceived? Have you dealt with your past wounds and failures?
PRAYER FOCUS Father, I’m glad to know that You are my main defense against the enemy. Help me to recognize where I am weak so that I will rely upon Your strength. Amen.
(PART 2)
God forgets our sin once it has been forgiven, but Satan does not. The devil uses our past failures and wounds to torment us if we let him. We must learn not to play his games.
READ Gen. 3:1-15; Zech. 3:1-4; 2 Cor. 2:11; 2 Cor. 11:3-4; 2 Tim. 2:24-26; 1 Pet. 5:8-9.
HEART ISSUE Are you allowing Satan to torment you with things you’ve been forgiven of?
PRAYER FOCUS Father, I praise You for Your abounding grace. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness that I may worship You and repel the enemy’s lies. Amen.
