A Joyful Reminder of What Awaits Believers

This holiday, the Feast of Trumpets/Rash Hashanah, reminds us every year that Jesus is coming back, when the last trumpet sounds (see: 1 Cor. 15:52 & Rev. 11:15-16). Paul refers to Yeshua’s return as “our blessed hope” (Titus 2:13). Father wants us to live with this anticipation—His Son is coming back for us. Beloved, this is the bedrock of our faith and is why the last words Yeshua spoke to us in the book of Revelation are:

“Yes, I am coming quickly” (Rev. 22:20).

Why would these be Yeshua’s last words recorded in the Bible? Because, He wants us to live with our eyes focused on His return and each day live in the light of eternity. Jesus is truly coming back for us. We must consciously live in the knowledge that He is going to reward each of us according to what we have done (Rev. 22:12).

Beloved, one day soon: no more sorrow, no more pain, no more sickness, and no more heartache. Imagine this, a time filled with eternal happiness, joy, and lacking nothing—we have all this and more waiting for us.

“I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away’” (Rev. 21:3-4).

Put your hand over your heart and say:

“Jesus is coming soon and I will be with Him forever!”
