As the Lord prepares us for Passover, we must understand there is intimacy in the preparation. He wants you to return to Him in the midst of the consecration process—drawing you ever closer to Him.
Though you may be experiencing discouragement in the season of preparation, it is time to fall in love with the process.
There have been times in my walk when the Lord was busy building character and teaching biblical principles to me. At the time, I wasn’t always finding joy in the consecration. Now, looking back, with the responsibilities He has released upon us, I come to Him and say, “Lord, I repent for not loving those times of preparation. Because it was there that you released hope and endurance.”
Preparatory Intimacy and an Invitation to Find Restoration and Rest
When Yeshua walked on earth, He continuously invited people to draw near to Him wherever they were in their process.
— “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matt. 11:28-30).
— “And Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out'” (John 6:35-37).
— “‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. … Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God'” (Matt. 5:3-5, 7-8)
The Lord is always inviting us to enter into His presence for restoration and rest. In that presence-place, there is intimacy. Leading up to Passover, prepare to place your feet beneath His table and enter into His intimate presence.
The Lord Is Inviting You to Absorb His Revelation
Right now, the Lord is sending out an invitation to come to Him, to come to His feet, to place yours beneath His table. He asks you to gaze into His eyes and absorb the instruction and revelation He has for you in this next season.
The Lord releases revelation according to His timetable. That timetable often coincides with the Hebraic calendar. Passover is a time of releasing, restoration, rest, redemption and revelation. It is a time to choose Him, to accept His invitation.
This part of your heritage cannot be taken away. It is part of who you are in Yeshua. Walk in alignment with Yeshua’s clarity and confidence, knowing that the Spirit of God has grafted you into a branch that is being restored.
— “And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you” (Rom. 11:17-18).
He has not forgotten you. He has not rejected you. You are His chosen. He has revealed Himself to you so that you can reveal Him to the world.
— “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Pet. 2:9).
Passover 2021/5781 Is a Time of Healing
You are not alone. He has preserved for Himself a remnant who will:
— Surrender to His ways.
— Yield to His Spirit.
— Look into His eyes.
— Position themselves to take authority.
— Embrace the process of consecration.
— Not be distracted by circumstances and situations.
— Accept the invitation into His presence.
Passover 2021/5781 is a call to the remnant to receive His healing. The Father is healing hearts. He is healing nations. He is healing you.
He is realigning His people. Where there has been discouragement, disappointment, doubt, fear and confusion, he is covering those places by the blood of Lamb and releasing health and healing.
The Lord is releasing peace. In Hebrew, the word “peace” is translated as shalom—nothing missing, nothing broken.
When you understand your identity in Yeshua, as being adopted into the family of God, you experience belonging. You experience shalom. He welcomes you, home. He welcomes you to His table.
Passover is a time when the Father wants to release His power inside of you so that you can take dominion—the dominion He gives to you—and bind and loosen according to His will.
He desires to see His children dwell in unity, to come together so that He can release a great anointing of restoration and healing.
It is not by our power, but by His Spirit who dwells with us, that these things will be released.
— “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit” (1 Cor. 12:13).
