Abraham’s journey in Genesis 12 reveals three ways that the Lord met him in his season of transition. On a recent episode of Revive the World on the Charisma Podcast Network, Humberto Renovato shares a prophetic word about how God may be working in your own transitional season.
Renovato points out that, much to our possible dismay and frustration, “Sometimes God will be so detailed about the things you have to let go of, and not so detailed about the things that are in your future.” This can not only cause additional stress and panic, but can leave you wondering if God cares about the next steps you have to take. Fear not, Renovato says, for there is a lesson to be learned from Abraham’s journey that will help you unpack the steps to your next season.
The key is something that is only found after taking Abraham’s lead, Renovato says. Only then can you be “aware that you don’t know what ‘better’ really looks like. And so when you are in the season of transitions, when you are coming out of something and going into something else, you have to know that God is before you. God has prepared a way. God is the God who prepares a way, even when there seems [to be] no way.”
