It’s Time to Speak to the Rock: Prophetic Words for the Fall Feasts 2020/5781

God’s appointed times are a great blessing to believers. For those who are adopted into His family, we can expect and anticipate great revelation and anointing to be released during these biblically appointed times.

The appointed times, or moeds, are feasts and festivals on God’s calendar that He uses to:

—Gather us as an assembly.

—Release revelation and divine instruction.

—Prepare us for a new era.

—Call us home into His presence.

God gave me Psalm 89:26 for the fall feasts 2020/5781: “He shall cry unto Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the Rock of my salvation.'”

We are in the Hebraic decade of the ’80s. In Hebrew, ’80’ means to speak. Eighty is also associated with the letter pey, which is a picture of the mouth. The number “one” represents God.

Therefore, the Hebrew year 5781 is about speaking to God.

However, many believers can miss out on the great blessings that are part of their inheritance because they are unaware of how the fall feasts fit into God’s divine calendar.

God’s Calendar Reveals His Restoring Character

For more than 30 years, my wife, Christie, and I have followed God’s calendar. At the beginning of our faith journey, we did not fully understand the pattern of revelation we were experiencing. Yet, as years passed, God revealed how His calendar, which was established through the Hebrew people, is still relevant today.

We began to dig into Leviticus 23 and noticed something. God meets with us according to His timeline. And He tells us when this is to take place and invites us to join Him!

We know that God’s Spirit:

—Awakens.

—Restores.

—Prepares.

—Equips.

—Instructs.

A fresh anointing is released during the fall feasts so we can enter the new year, which begins on Rosh Hashanah. This spiritually awakens and prepares us for what He has planned in the coming year.

The Pattern of the Fall Feasts

The fall feasts follow a pattern, and God reveals details about how we can operate as we move forward.

Rosh Hashanah: An Awaking Blast

Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Feast of Trumpets, is a day of shouting and blasting. In other words, it is a day God calls you to blow your shofar, awaken, be alert to His Spirit and prepare to move forward, focused on Him.

Yom Kippur: A Repentant Heart

Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of Atonement, is a day to repent and return to the Father. He wants you to turn to Him so that He can break the chains of oppressing spirits that have held you back in the last year.

Sukkot: A Rededication

Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles, is a time to trust in God for His provision. The Spirit awakens your soul at Rosh Hashanah. The blood cleanses you at Yom Kippur. At Sukkot, God releases the provision you will need in the coming year to fulfill your assignment. He does this as you remember and rededicate your covenant relationship with Him.

This pattern is followed year after year. And within that pattern, a word is released. This year is a time to speak to the Rock.

What Is the Lord Preparing to Do in the New Year?

“To speak” means “to prophesy.” We need to prepare our hearts to receive a word from the Lord and then to speak it out in agreement.

Psalm 89:26 is a word God is using to prepare us to speak to Him.

But He doesn’t stop there.

Prophecy is an opportunity to agree with the Lord’s instruction and then walk it out in faith.

The prophetic significance of the Fall Feasts 2020/5781 message is:

—Receive a word.

—Speak the word.

—Apply the word.

—Make changes according to the word.

—Receive the transformation as the word is manifested.

The Lord is preparing to send you a fire and abundant grace for new beginnings. You will need a new identity to believe what He will do in the coming year.

To protect this new identity, you must stay in His glory. He wants to speak directly to you, anointing you. He wants you to see what He sees and decree it on earth as it is in heaven.

The revelation He will release during the fall feasts will shift you so that you can receive the new wine and fresh oil.

The fall feasts are a time to reset your clock and redeem your time. He will stretch you, promoting you as you prepare and trust in Him.

Speak to Him, Your Father and Rock:

—Decree your identity.

—Apply your identity.

—Make the changes you need to fulfill your new identity.

—Believe and receive transformation into His likeness.

The Takeaway

God’s feasts are a time to celebrate and receive blessings from the Father. They put you into alignment and synergy with Him.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” (James 1:17).

They are part of your inheritance so that you may trust, believe and receive the transformative power that will deliver a Word of opportunity with the expectation that it will be manifested as you participate in His divine nature during these moeds.

—”His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which

have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Pet. 1:3-4).

Observing and participating in the fall feasts are simply a gracious invitation from God. Don’t miss out on the goodness He has written down and recorded in your book in heaven. He wants to release it.

Will you receive it? {eoa}
