Pastor Troy Brewer Shares the New Year 5784 and Beyond: Embracing God’s Divine Timing

Rosh Hashanah stands as a momentous occasion in the Hebrew calendar.

Recently, Pastor Troy Brewer shared a prophetic message exploring the Bible’s numerical significance and its connection to Rosh Hashanah. Throughout this prophetic exploration, he emphasizes the importance of aligning with God’s divine timing and purposes during these pivotal moments.

The Intersection of Calendars

In recent times, Pastor Brewer has noticed a curious alignment between the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars, particularly in the years 2016, 2020 and 2024. Each of the years that have already occurred had associated with them monumental events that shook the world to its core.

In 2016 the election of Donald Trump stunned the world and saw four years of rebellion against the authority placed in America. Following this, the year 2020, which Brewer explains the Lord had put on his heart years before, led to the global lockdowns of the COVID pandemic. Who but the Lord knows what 2024 will bring?

The Decade of Pay – The Mouthpiece of God

The current decade, represented by the Hebrew letter Pay (P) and corresponding to the number 80, signifies the mouth. Pastor Troy Brewer encourages us to synchronize our words with God’s divine truth and to speak His message boldly during this era. This decade is underpinned by the fear of the Lord, a theme resonating 23 times in the New Testament. During the Days of Awe leading up to Yom Kippur, we’re urged to seek God with unwavering devotion, fully consecrating ourselves to Him.

Psalm 84: Gatekeepers in God’s Sanctuary

Pastor Troy Brewer draws our attention to Psalm 84, which beautifully extols the privilege of being in God’s presence. Anna, a widow for 84 years who served as a doorkeeper in the temple, serves as an inspiring example of unwavering dedication and proximity to God’s dwelling. In this year 5784, we’re called to be gatekeepers, firmly rooted in God’s sanctuary.

The 84th Verse: A Reminder to Prioritize God

The 84th verse in the Old Testament, found in Deuteronomy, serves as a stark reminder against serving false gods. It underscores the need to prioritize God above all else. In the New Testament, Pastor Troy Brewer reminds us of Matthew 4:20, where disciples promptly left their nets to follow Jesus. Are we similarly willing to leave everything behind for Him?

Polonium: The Element of Caution

In a unique twist, Pastor Troy Brewer delves into the periodic table and identifies the 84th element, polonium. Though unrelated to our physical bodies, polonium is extraordinarily toxic due to its radioactivity. It serves as a poignant reminder for us to guard against contamination by the toxic influences of the world in this year.

Exploring the Significance of the Number Four

Digging deeper into the significance of the number four and its connection to creation and the world, Pastor Brewer emphasizes that we’re living in unprecedented times. The year 5784, which commenced with the great American eclipse in 2017, marked the beginning of a new seven-year cycle. We stand on the cusp of another celestial event, the forthcoming solar eclipse in October. This eclipse holds a special message, symbolizing a call for the body of Christ to seek God in the garden and walk intimately with Him.

Brewer implores Christians that while the world may be pursuing a globalist agenda, we, as believers, have a different mission—the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The four elements—earth, air, fire and water—parallel the four regions (north, south, east, west), four seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter), four lunar cycles and the divisions of mankind (lands, tongues, families, nations). Just as in the days of Noah, when the realm of the demonic intertwined with the human, we witness the resurgence of these dark forces. It is imperative that we remain vigilant and firmly rooted in Christ.

Returning to the concept of doors, Jesus unequivocally declares, “I am the door” twice, underscoring His role as the ultimate gateway to salvation and fresh opportunities. The significance of double doors, as seen in Isaiah 45:1, underscores the opening of novel pathways and gates divinely prepared for God’s people.

This year, let us bear in mind the admonition from Genesis 4:7: “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door.” We must strive for righteousness and rebuff the allure of sin. Serving the Lord is a privilege, and we are an integral part of His divine plan.

As many embrace the year 5784 and its call for intimacy, new directives and hope, we must recognize our role as the body of Christ in a world marked by change and challenges. We are called to be beacons of the gospel’s light and stand unwaveringly in the fear of the Lord. Doors represent fresh opportunities, and as believers, we should be open to receiving God’s guidance, stepping through the doors He opens for us, and trusting that He is the ultimate Door to salvation and purpose.
