There is a lot of shaking going on right now in politics, in career paths, in natural disasters and in the church. It’s going to turn up a notch for many.
Any historian knows that almost nothing is new, everything is a pattern that repeats and so sociologists and historians often are not in shock of world events. That is going to change though, because there are going to be battles that are fought in ways that no has ever done.
Over the next 12 months the enemy is going to try and distract with a capital D. He is going to try and wear everyone and anyone out so we have no energy for discernment, no extra capacity for compassion, and no trust for the systems that are in place.
But what is God going to do?
I have three things he showed me and I am going to tell you so that you will not be shaken off the foundation of Christ,
Things are not going to get better in general, but for those who are walking with God, this might be one of the best times of your existence.
We are going to see what like what happened with Moses and Egypt where devastation was released but the Israelites were miraculously spared while the Egyptians suffered (Exodus 8).
I heard God say: “I am putting people exactly where I need them.”
I think of how the famine in the land drove the Israelites to ask Egypt for help and when they got there they met their brother, Joseph who had been appointed governor second under the Pharaoh himself. They instantly not only had provision but were appointed to positions under Joseph’s line.
In the shakings, the famine, the political turmoil there is hope because there is Jesus inside of you.
I saw a spark of hope and faith that is downright contagious coming into people. When everything seems to be falling apart, those who follow God will be lit up with a kind of hope that will spread out. It’s not just wishful thinking, it’s deep and anchored hope that believes the best is yet to come no matter how hard things get.
Hope That Doesn’t Disappoint
Hebrews 6:19 (NIV): “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” This scripture reassures believers that the hope found in God is steadfast and reliable.
Radical power is going to be released that will have disruptive consequences.
The early Christians were called disruptive and some accused them of “Turning the world upside down…” Acts 17:6 “When they couldn’t find them, they took Jason instead, along with some of the brothers in his house church, and dragged them before the city council. Along the way they screamed out, “Those troublemakers who have turned the world upside down have come here to our city.”

That is what is going to happen again is that we may not be the king of every mountain top, but God is going to use Christians to fulfill his plan and it’s a huge plan that the Bible lays out into the coming of Jesus. We have a role to play and this is our training ground.
If you want that God result you are going to have to have a God process. He is asking to be Lord of your life and to lead you.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This proverb encourages believers to trust in God’s guidance and direction, acknowledging that He will lead them rightly (Prov. 3:5-6).
He is leading you into a result you couldn’t have without Him. His favor leads you in ways that you couldn’t get to.
Get ready for some amazing things to happen. We are talking about those moments where you say “Only God could have done that.” You will see miracles. You will see signs right in front of you that you can’t explain. It won’t be hidden but it will be there for everyone to see. Things will happen in public places, in schools, in workplaces and homes. This is going to be God’s way of letting everyone know that He is still here working and doing incredible things. Your life will be the proof.
In the face of global uncertainty and societal collapse, stories like these from ancient Scriptures remind us there’s a divine narrative unfolding, one where hope, protection and provision are assured for those walking closely with the Almighty.
So, as the world around you may be trembling, remember: you’ve got this anchored hope, this unbreakable promise from above. Just as the Israelites found protection under divine wings during times of profound societal collapse, you too stand under the canopy of God’s unfailing love and protection in these turbulent times.
And as we wrap up today’s conversation, here’s a practical call to action for each one tuning in:
A Call to Action
Seek divine alignment. Engage in intentional prayer and reflection, asking for guidance and discernment to be positioned according to God’s divine purpose and plan in this season.

Remember, you’re not alone; you’re part of a community, a spiritual family, walking this journey together. Leave in the comments if you need prayer and let’s pray for each other.
