Missions Off the Grid

Christian Aid Missions Off the Grid

Some 6,000 people groups have never heard of Jesus. Christian Aid Mission helps native believers reach off-the-grid groups like these:

  • Fulani | Africa

The Fulani, the largest nomadic tribe in the world, have for 800 years been Sunni Islam missionaries in the vast expanses of west and central Africa. .

  • Magar | Nepal

Nepal, the world’s only Hindu kingdom, is home to some 400 ethnic groups. The Magar represent 7 percent of the population and are one of the oldest Nepalese tribes.

  • Tuareg | Niger

The nomadic Tuareg, or “Blue People,” are so named because when seen at great distances the tribe looks like a blue cloud emerging from the Saharan horizon.

  • Uyghur of Kazakhstan

In Islamic Kazakhstan, believers typically reside in small pockets in urban areas, leaving the rural regions, where the Uyghur are, without access to the gospel.

  • San Chay | Vietnam

In Vietnam, a communist state where Christianity is restricted, many pastors are imprisoned for evangelizing fellow countrymen such as the San Chay
