We are experiencing such a mixture of doctrines and spirits today. There are so many false prophets, false teachers and charlatans in the body of Christ. Because of this, many remain as children tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine (Eph. 4:14). Just because you’re hungry doesn’t mean you should feed on junk food.
I’ve never witnessed so many claiming to be prophetic who are really pathetic. I’ve never witnessed so much of what’s called prophetic without any unction of the Holy Spirit whatsoever. Is it possible to be prophetic without knowing the Holy Spirit? That may seem harsh, but I see it on a regular basis.
I was recently in a service when a so-called prophet came out and ministered to two individuals with a supposed word of knowledge and word of wisdom. I immediately sensed a strange spirit. It wasn’t the Holy Spirit, yet everyone rejoiced and clapped.
