Zuly Garcia, co-founder of Father’s Glory International with her husband, Chris Garcia, says God recently spoke a prophetic word to her that will shake the foundations of the church body at large.
“There is a shaking coming to the church that is so strong that only those who have their eyes fixed on Jesus will be able to stand,” Zuly says. “It’s necessary for the shaking that is getting ready to take place because the Lord needs His bride to be focused.
“So, please, keep your eyes focused on Jesus. I literally saw our feet being planted in firm foundation, like concrete when it is settling and its wet and then it dries. Our feet were solid in Him and we were focused on Him. I saw our eyes fixed on Him.
“That’s the posture He wants [for] His church—firm and ground in Him, fixed on him—not looking to the right or the left because what is getting ready to unfold and take place is beyond what we can think or imagine. We have to be fixed on Him. We have to be so devoted and focused on Him, which is why He is trying to address His bride and get us refocused. It’s not about ministry. It’s not about all these other things. It’s about Him and that’s why He wants us to return to our first love, which is Him, so nothing else can get in the way.
“That’s exactly what I heard in my spirit. So, stay focused on Him and that’s why He’s redirecting us to be so caught up in His presence and to seek His face because there’s more that He is going to pour out for the end times, and we are presently living in those times. Be encouraged.”
Chris Garcia, who serves on the pastoral staff at Victory Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas, says that is exactly what he heard in his spirit too while the couple prayed recently. He says there is a great shaking coming, and whatever can be shaken in the church will be shaken, so what remains only is “His kingdom.”
While Zuly was speaking on the videocast, a Scripture, Hebrews 12:25-28, came to Chris’ mind. The Scripture reads:
“See that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused Him who spoke on earth, much less shall we escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven. At that time, His voice shook the earth, but now He has given us a promise, saying, ‘Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.’ And this statement, ‘Yet once more,’ signifies the removal of those things that can be shaken, things that are created, so that only those things that cannot be shaken will remain.’ Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be moved, let us be gracious by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”
Reverence of the Lord and godly fear aren’t exactly popular among the masses globally in these end times.
But, Chris Garcia says he has a strong warning for those people, including so-called Christians, that aren’t walking in fear of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Newsflash—it’s important to God,” Garcia says. “Thank you that we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. What is the service that God finds acceptable? Reverence and godly fear. Our God is a consuming fire. He will shake what needs to be shaken. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken so that what remains is the unshakable, which is in reference to the coming of the Lord, the consummation of the age of the return of Jesus the Messiah. But also there are moments in time in which the Lord shakes the church so that what remains is unshakable.
“Even in your personal life, there are things that are going to be shaken. So, the response is don’t be discouraged because He’s trying to remove what can be shake so that what remains is an unshakable kingdom. What remains in your life is only Him.”
Garcia says the end times church will be marked with reverence and godly fear.
“But remember what the fear of the Lord is,” Garcia says. “It is to be struck by the awesome presence of almighty God. It is to be so captivated by his power and beauty that you are undone and the response and the call of holiness and purity. His presence is multifaceted. There’s holiness, there’s peace, there’s a stirring of all sorts of diversity in the presence of God, and that’s what we need.”
