In the midst of prophecies that have been spoken from different Christian commentators, apostles and prophets, it can be hard to discern what exactly we should listen to. But what if two separate words have a very similar connection and phrasing?
In a word given at the beginning of the year, Dutch Sheets said that this year would be the year of “The dragon, the bear and the lion.” In his description, each of these animals were representative of a different nation, specifically Russia, China and Iran. This word was a warning that these nations would be watching America and Biden’s leadership.
“They realize this opportunity may not last long and will try to make the most of it. A weakened America means strengthened evil,” Sheets said.
In a separate word during an exclusive interview with Charisma News, Joseph Z had a word that the lion, the bear and Goliath were coming. While the lion and the bear represented specific nations in Sheets’ prophetic word, Z’s word explained these to be more symbolic of different events that would happen. The lion is a symbol of the media’s negative impact on culture while the bear represents fear for economic provision.
In the differences between these two words, Sheets discussed the dragon, while Z mentioned Goliath. The dragon, which could be understood as China from Sheets’ word, is a powerful and mighty nation. As The Most Important News reported, China has desired for “reunification” with Taiwan. What has been dubbed as a “dragon fossil” was also recently found in China, perhaps these two events symbolizing a return of this nation.

Goliath, however, as Z described, is a spirit of intimidation. “Goliath coming is a global, wicked spirit that wants to run this nation into the ground,” Z prophesied.
So, where do these two words intersect?
The overarching theme of both the dragon and Goliath could demonstrate a great and powerful spirit or stronghold that desires to conquer. While both the bear and the lion are meant to make us fearful, it is these last two, the dragon and Goliath, that are meant to crush believers. It is a desire for Satan to come and steal, kill and destroy everything he sees, but at the end of the day, it is the believer in Christ who has the ultimate authority to fight these powers and principalities through the name of Jesus.
As we continue forward this year, let us think about and see where these two words cross with one another as we see national and international affairs play out.
