This pastor shares prophetic insights into recent earthquakes in California on the Fourth of July and the evening following the holiday.
While some people say the quakes are God’s judgment, Pastor Kathy Melson instead sees the mercy and lovingkindness of the heavenly Father in sparing lives he wants to save.
“I feel, especially since with both quakes there was no loss of life, this is a sign from the Lord that an awakening is upon us,” says Melson, who leads prophetic and healing ministries at Rez.Church in Loveland, Colorado.
“Instead of judgment and condemnation, it is a loving heavenly Father shaking us awake to His goodness and power,” Melson says. “He’s reminding us that there is no God like Him, and it is time for His people to talk about His goodness, because the harvest field is full and ready to be picked.”
Melson and husband David have been pastors since 1991.
