Post Grad

Ryden Malby (Alexis Bledel) is an aspiring book editor and excited about life after college. She expects to land the perfect job and be well on her way to a successful career and life. But as so many post-graduates have experienced, even the most well-laid plans don’t always pan out. Ryden doesn’t land her dream job, and with her car on the fritz and no way to pay the rent, she faces the inevitable: It’s time to move back home.

It’s unpleasant feeling as if you’re going backward, but it is especially hard going back into the arms of a quirky family. Ryden’s mother is all too glad to have her back; her father schemes to keep her from focusing on her career; her chain-smoking grandmother is always planning her own funeral; and her baby brother communicates through a sock puppet. This is not exactly how Ryland envisioned life after college. But she soon realizes that sometimes the road to success and happiness isn’t always a straight path but more a winding road. This film is rated PG-13 for sexual situations and brief strong language.
