New York Times best-selling author and terrorism expert Brigitte Gabriel is the latest voice to be censored by Facebook.
After dubbing it “hate speech,” Facebook last week removed a post by Gabriel in which she stated the following in response to alleged terrorist Siraj Ibn Wahhaj:
“This is the smile of a sick and depraved Muslim terrorist who is back on the streets (on bail) after training children to shoot up schools. The judge who allowed this to happen should be removed from their post ASAP. If he harms anyone while on bail, the blood is on their hands.”
Gabriel noted that the same post was left intact on Twitter, where Gabriel noted: “Facebook took this EXACT post down under the claim of ‘Hate Speech.’ Shameful that they hate the truth so much they will resort to censorship.”
Gabriel talks about the prevalence of this very type of censorship in her soon-to-be-released book, Rise: In Defense of Judeo-Christian Values and Freedom, out on Sept. 11.
“Freedom of speech is the most fundamental pillar of Western, Judeo-Christian society. Increasingly, this fundamental civil right afforded to all Americans through the First Amendment to our Constitution is being eroded by the Islamist-leftist coalition in an effort to assert control over ‘we the people,'” Gabriel writes in Rise. “The unholy alliance between radical Islamists and radical leftists has resulted in a modern-day America our founders would not recognize. America, despite being known for its protection of free speech, is now a country where speaking the truth will leave you labeled a bigot or the new attack word, ‘Islamophobic.'”
Just today, YouTube placed a “strike” on Gabriel’s organization, ACT for America, for a video posted in 2012.

In Rise, Gabriel arms readers with real data and compelling facts that will equip them to fight the efforts of America’s enemies to undermine the nation at every level of society. Rise will also motivate readers to unite with other patriots who wish to preserve America’s endangered Judeo-Christian values and freedom.
In addition, Rise contains Gabriel’s most hard-hitting, explosive message yet. It’s not only a warning but also a rallying cry to unite Americans of all backgrounds in a fight for the survival of the nation, the protection of the Judeo-Christian values upon which it was built and the preservation of the freedoms on which future generations depend.
