Love, Peace, Joy at Christmas, the first holiday album from award-winning gospel group Trin-I-Tee 5:7, is being released as a combo CD/DVD. The package offers 11 traditional and original recordings, live performance footage and a special bonus track.
Listeners are sure to get into the holiday spirit with Trin-I-Tee 5:7’s cover of classics “Winter Wonderland,” “O Holy Night” and “Silent Night.” Their rendition of “Joy to the World” is sure to be a fan favorite. The group also adds some jazz to “White Christmas” and remakes Michael Jackson’s “Give Love on Christmas Day.”
The bonus track features Brian Courtney Wilson singing Donny Hathaway’s “This Christmas.” Their live performance on the TV special Gospel Music Channel Presents Christmas at Union Station is featured on the DVD.
Love, Peace, Joy at Christmas is Trin-I-Tee 5:7’s first Christmas album, but it shouldn’t be their last. In fact, fans are likely to wish the group would release a new festive set every year.
