J.D. Vance has acknowledged the spiritual realm.
Back in 2021, Vance spoke at a private Teneo Network Event where he talked about the impact of politics and media on our society today.
“We are horrified in this country,” Vance said. “And I see it on both the Left and the Right. We’re horrified of unconventional people who say and believe unconventional things.”
“I got myself into a little hot water last week because I made what seemed to me a plainly obvious observation that Alex Jones, the InfoWars guy, is a better source of information than Rachel Maddow, the MSNBC gal,” he continued.
Vance made the point that if someone were to spend most of their time listening to commentators like Maddow, they would believe that “MAGA grandmas” are those who want to start insurrections. He also said that on the flip side, those who listen to Alex Jones daily would have a vision that a “transnational financial elite” is the one actually running things behind-the-scenes in America. He further says those elites would be viewed as people who hate our country and are likely “sex perverts.” However, Vance believes this view is much closer to our reality than Maddow’s perspective.

“I believe the devil is real and that he works terrible things in our society. That’s a crazy conspiracy theory to a lot of very well-educated people in this country right now,” Vance said.
Vance is right to note that the devil is real. First Peter 5:8 tells us, “Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
As we continue to push forward towards the end times, it is becoming harder and harder to dismiss the reality of the spiritual realm and the battle taking place between good and evil.
