When two billionaires who are standing up against the squashing of freedoms taking place around the globe meet for a conversation on X, you can bet the mainstream media have an absolute meltdown over it.
And of course, they did.
Billionaire tech-guru Elon Musk, the man behind Tesla, Neuralink, SpaceX and more, met with former President Donald Trump on X Spaces to have a conversation on the state of America, and what Trump would do should he win the presidential election this November.

The interview has garnered over 1 billion views in less than 24 hours, according to Musk, .
So what exactly did these two titans of their respective industries discuss that sent the corporate media into a massive frenzy?
- Trump’s brush with death at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania: Trump discussed in detail his experience at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt. He also plans to hold another rally in Butler sometime in October.
- Criticism of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris: “The election is coming up, and people want to hear about the economy. Food prices are up …and this stupid administration allowed this to happen,” Trump said. “And it’s a shame. And that’s the thing people most care about, in my opinion.”
- Immigration and border security: Trump repeated his concerns about illegal immigration and claimed that other countries were emptying out their prisons and psychiatric hospitals and sending the residents to the U.S. “We’re going to have the largest deportation in the history of this country,” Trump says. “We have no choice.”
- The importance of American energy independence: Musk expressed the view that the oil and gas industry should not be vilified, emphasizing that it has been instrumental in providing the necessary energy to support the economy. Trump is on board with this viewpoint, as he continues to say, “Drill, baby drill,” and is supportive of America expanding its fracking industry.
- Elimination of the Department of Education: Trump expressed a desire to dismantle the Department of Education if he wins the presidential election. He believes that education should be returned to the states, indicating a preference for more localized control over educational policies and decisions.
- Creation of a government commission to study the national debt and how Congress could reassess spending: Musk voiced his interest in being part of a “government efficiency commission,” “I think it would be great to just have a government efficiency commission that looks at these things to make sure taxpayer money is spent in a good way,” Musk told Trump. “I’d be happy to help out on such a commission.”
These talking points were enough to spawn dozens of negative articles from the increasingly irrelevant mainstream media, that has been running interference for Kamala Harris who has yet to hold a press conference (23 days and counting) since becoming the presumptive Democratic nominee.
The Spaces interview was marred by those who fear Donald Trump speaking so greatly that they initiated a DDOS attack, according to Musk, which delayed the interview but failed to prevent it.
Musk has publicly stated that he is willing to host a Spaces interview with Vice President Harris as well. But with her lack of a policy platform and seeming unwillingness to address the American people through any media that do not protect her and paint her in a very favorable light, it is unlikely such an event would take place.
