Kenneth Copeland Ministries shared a statement from evangelist Kenneth Copeland as part of a post on its Facebook page:
Jerry and I have been praying together for over 55 years. We have never had a cross word between us. Our families are intertwined with each other. He was my first preaching partner, other than Gloria. He began in this ministry by driving me to my meetings, setting up the equipment and making the tapes. His first assignment was during the Jesus Revolution. He won so many to the Lord at Pismo Beach, CA. Jerry Savelle is now in heaven with his Savior. He will always be dear to my heart.
Daystar Television also honored Savelle’s life in its social media post:
Savelle leaves behind his wife and two daughters, Jerriann Savelle and Terri Savelle Foy, along with multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An announcement of a celebration of life will be made at a later date.
