Some Call It Healthcare, But it’s Really Sacrifice to Baal

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Say to the people of Israel, any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death…And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech” (2 Kings 20:1,4-5).

“We are Christian and we are German. Therefore, we are responsible for Germany. How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone willing to give himself up individually to a righteous cause? Such a fine, sunny day, and I have to go, but what does my death matter, if through us, thousands of people are awakened and stirred to action?”—Sophie Scholl, age 21

“The ability of women to participate equally in the economic and social life of the Nation has been facilitated by their ability to control their reproductive lives.” – Justice Anthony Kennedy, Planned Parenthood v. Casey, 1992

Through many forms over many millennia, the ancient serpent has sought to undermine God’s original intent for humankind in Eden. God directed Adam and Eve to “be fruitful and multiply” with one prohibition: avoiding the fruit of a particular tree. The serpent sewed disbelief—“you will not die…you will be like God”—and death, through sin, tainted all subsequent generations.

Pursuing a better existence involved merely eating fruit for Eve, but participating in the death of other humans as a means of making a better life, or avoiding death for as long as possible, has been the practice of many religions, cults, and even atheists ever since. Bringing death and wreaking spiritual havoc in the lives of those who survive has always been the serpent’s plan.

Baals were gods, mentioned often in the Old Testament, to whom humans (especially children) were sacrificed to mitigate calamity and bring favorable weather for crops.  Ashera was a fertility goddess, a consort of Baal, and worship of the duo involved ritual prostitution and orgies. In the book of Judges, God instructed Gideon to free the Israelites from the oppression of the Midianites.

The first task God gave him, however, was destroying the altar of Baal and the Asherah pole his father had erected. When the Israelites discovered he had done this, they were angry and tried to kill him.

In June 2022, the Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade, removing federal protection for abortions and returning governance to individual states; many have since restricted or banned elective abortions. A leak of the decision was made public on May 2; six days later, Jane’s Revenge, a violent pro-abortion group, began a campaign of firebombing and vandalizing pro-life pregnancy centers across the US. Over 100 such instances have since occurred, with only two persons charged so far.

Anger, and often violence, is the response of a worshiper whose religion is under threat.

In ancient Israel, the people offered their children to Molech/Baal in hopes of securing future financial prosperity and fertility. In 1930s Germany, Adolf Hitler popularized the notion that two races of people existed: the ‘higher’ Aryan race and the ‘lower’ diseased and impure Jews and those with physical or mental disabilities.

Upon this basis he endeavored to exterminate those considered lower so that Germany would be improved. In modern American society, the elective killing of unborn children is called ‘healthcare’ and promoted as empowerment – the means by which women can excel in the workplace and exercise bodily autonomy.

Many people today believe they would have resisted Hitler’s regime and genocide, which resulted in the killing of 6 million Jews (as well as 5 million prisoners of war), had they been alive to do so. Yet in the US, 64 million unborn babies have been killed since the first abortion clinic opened in 1916 and Roe v. Wade legalized the practice in 1973.

Although contemporary society may recoil in horror at the idea of human sacrifice, nearly eight times more American babies die in the womb annually than were offered in 1487 by the Aztecs to their sun god on the steps of Temple Mayor to prevent famine. There is no difference in the methods or desired outcomes; human sacrifice has always been practiced with the goal of improving circumstances for the living at the expense of those murdered.

The use of fetal cells and tissue is widespread in scientific research, explained on the University of Pittsburgh website as playing “a crucial role in scientists’ efforts to combat and cure some of our most devastating diseases, including Alzheimer’s, ALS, diabetes and Parkinson’s.” Many vaccines, as well as drugs such as acetaminophen, albuterol, aspirin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, Tums, Lipitor, Senokot, Motrin, Maalox, Ex-Lax, Benadryl, Sudafed, Preparation H, Claritin, Prilosec, and Zoloft were developed using human fetal cells.

In 2021, Judicial Watch made public documents from the US Department of Health and Human Services that confirmed $3 million in federal funds had been sent to UPitt. Their 2015 proposal, in partnership with the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, described “developing a pipeline for the acquisition, quality control and distribution of human…samples obtained throughout development (6-42 weeks gestation)” with a stated goal of “a minimum of 5 cases (tissues and if possible other biologicals) per week.”

Seth Gruber is the son of a pregnancy resource director. He began speaking against abortion publicly at age 19 and never stopped. He has modeled his nonprofit, the White Rose Resistance, on the efforts of Hans and Sophie Scholl, college students killed by the Nazi regime after they helped publish and distribute pamphlets intended to influence public sentiment against Hitler’s ideologies.

His podcast, “Unaborted,” social media presence, and ministry aim to educate and equip churches to become active participants in the fight against the genocide happening by abortion right now. God called Gideon to destroy idols in Israel because His blessing could not rest on a nation which allowed human sacrifice to occur; Seth aims to awaken the people of God in America to the same reality taking place within our borders daily, inviting us to ‘open our eyes’ so that God will not set His face against us.

Burning children to ensure crop yield; killing prisoners of war to bring favorable weather; gassing Jews and undesirables to achieve a master race; sacrificing babies in utero to develop a ‘pipeline’ for medicines and encourage women to achieve professional and personal goals…Satan has always been the god of secular progressivism.

Societies that sacrifice humans worship him, as many names (or none at all), when they pursue money, education, pleasure or self-edification and are willing to kill to get it. The modern practice of this idolatry, performed by priests wearing lab coats and renamed “healthcare,” is as odious to God as altars to Baal and Ashera poles which had to be destroyed.
