guide of the nation’s largest state. Sarah Palin’s Alaska, which
premieres on TLC on Sunday, offers a glimpse of life in Alaska as seen
through the eyes of one of the state’s most recognizable residents.
The eight-week television event chronicles the former
governor’s life in her everyday surroundings and roles as a wife, mother and
working mom. Away from the buzz of the political scene, this
program captures Palin and her family exploring the beautiful Alaskan terrain,
interacting with family and engaging with fellow Alaskans.
The program is about family, adventure, faith, life lessons
and what it means to be Alaskan. “It’s about family, it’s community, that’s
what the Alaskan spirit is, and we’re proud of it,” Palin says on one episode.
“Sarah
Palin’s Alaska offers unprecedented access as the Palin family takes our
viewers along on a journey through their home state,” said Eileen
O’Neill, president and general manager of TLC. “Sarah Palin has captured
the attention of the entire country and this series continues TLC’s focus on
sharing the stories of real people leading extraordinary lives.”
Sarah Palin’s Alaska premieres Nov. 14, at 9 p.m. on
