Why Shawn Bolz Prophesied the Coronavirus Is About to End Despite Public Panic

With the coronavirus in the news, plenty of people are panicking. Just look at how many events have been canceled and how the stock market has plummeted in recent days. In fact, two of my biggest podcasts on The Strang Report this year have been about the coronavirus. But Christians do not need to be afraid.

Prophet Shawn Bolz—who has a very popular podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network—recently prophesied on Facebook that the coronavirus is about to come to an end.

“The Lord showed me the end of the Coronavirus…the tide is turning now!” Bolz wrote. “He is answering the prayers and cries of the nations and is putting an end in sight. The exaggerated fear based tactics of both the enemy and several media outlets for political reasons is coming to an end. The enemy has been trying to distract and steal from several equally important purposes and issues by dominating airwaves with conspiracy and fear. Even now several vaccines are coming out as well as a natural dying out of the virus itself. The Lord is saying ‘I am removing the threat of this.’ Within a short amount of time the extreme threat will feel like it is in the way past.”

His prophetic word was even picked up by FOX News, and I thought their reporters handled the story very responsibly. I believe that Shawn has heard from the Lord, and that’s why I wanted to share his prophetic insight with you. I think Christians need to remember that there is still a place for prayer, even in our increasingly secular society.

Recently on my podcast, missionary Dennis Balcombe shared reports of coronavirus-afflicted patients being miraculously healed. While these reports are unconfirmed, I absolutely believe they could be real. I believe in the power of prayer.

We have to keep this in perspective. It is not yet a pandemic. Could it become one? Unfortunately, yes. We have to take precautions, and we should be careful not to spread the disease. But at the end of the day, we serve a God who created the entire universe—and no matter how frightening the coronavirus may be, He is more powerful.

Lee Grady, the former editor of Charisma, shared 10 prayers from Scripture that may help you and your family during the coronavirus outbreak:

Psalm 57:1 (NASB): “Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge in You; and in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge until destruction passes by.”

Psalm 91:5-6, 9-10: “You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent.”

Psalm 5:11: “But let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy; and may You shelter them, that those who love Your name may exult in You.”

Psalm 34:4: “I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

Exodus 15:26: “And He said, ‘If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.'”

Psalm 55:22: “Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.”

Psalm 56:3: “When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You.”

Philippians 4:6-7: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Psalm 34:17: “The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.”

Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

It’s good to put the Word of God in our hearts. We need to place our trust in God. Pray that God will give our government and medical leaders wisdom to handle this crisis, but above all, we must keep our focus on God.
