A couple of months ago there was a huge demonstration in downtown Orlando, called a “tea party.” It received very little press, even though thousands of people attended. I wouldn’t have known about it except that a couple of my family members inadvertently found themselves downtown, and were able to interact with a number of the attendees. They gave me a big report of the event. These “tea parties” were going on around the country and now there is an organized effort to hold numerous parties in America on Tax Day– Wednesday, April 15.
Chuck Norris is also pushing these rallies. He wrote this in today’s column on World Net Daily. He wrote: “I hope you’ve joined one of the thousands of T.E.A. (Taxed Enough Already) parties or Fair Tax rallies meeting across the country on April 15 to protest the outrageous government spending, the deepening of our national debt and the subsequent taxes that are forthcoming because of it. This is a nonpartisan time to rally around like-minded citizens and declare that we’re tired of the same old political rhetoric, and we want a better way.” Click here to read his entire column.
