As pastor and prophet Frank Amedia looks back at the 2020 presidential election, he sees chaos. And this moves the founder of potusshield.com to recall the prophetic word he released the day before George Floyd was murdered in Minneapolis, which said that chaos was being released upon the U.S. and would filter through the earth, “and that this spirit of chaos and confusion would not rest,” he says.
Amedia’s stunningly accurate prophecies not only revealed former President Donald J. Trump as the winner of the 2016 election but also pinpointed his appointment of three Supreme Court justices along with other accomplishments he says were “Trump’s assignments” from the Lord. But now this man of God is both asking and answering a key question of himself and others who prophesied a Trump 2020 victory: Did we miss the word of the Lord?
Amedia says that on Nov. 4, the day after the election, he locked himself away for a few days of prayer, fasting and seeking God. The word God gave him at that time was to “stop the noise” and to see where the Lord would take us. Today, nearly four months after the election, he still sees chaos, along with many Bible-believing Christians who have been misled by leadership, he says.
But through these weeks and months of pressing in, the Lord has also shown Amedia something else. When he had the opportunity to share his prophecy that then-candidate Trump would win the 2016 election by handing a brief note for him to then-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, Amedia says, “It gave a prophetic word out of Zechariah. It blessed him. And then it said this, that you will be the next president of the United States. Now listen clearly, there’s a condition: If you humble yourself before God.”
Amedia says that what he has now learned is what he’s taught in the past, but he failed to listen to it himself: “God is not measured in time like we are. When God says something, we want to put a timeline on it. And we want to capture it in the moment that He said it. And for that part, I should have been wise enough to put it together with the other thing that He said.”
What Amedia says he missed was the importance of the word “season” in his word from the Lord. He says God told him that in Trump’s first season, he would nominate three Supreme Court justices. “And I emphasized that,” he says. “I listened to my own tapes many times, at least a dozen times. I said not the first term [but] in his first season, that he would nominate three Supreme Court justices, so that we could begin to turn the law of the land back around, that he would nominate many lower-court justices to bring the cases and get them up to the Supreme Court.
“If the word was ‘season,’ there was a condition on the presidency of Donald Trump,” he says. “And that condition is no different than it has been on anybody. There was a condition on Saul, and King Saul blew the condition. He lost his anointing.”
To hear more about the “condition” the Lord laid on Amedia’s heart about the Trump presidency and why he says he is praying more for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris than he prayed for Trump, listen to his recent interview with Stephen Strang on the Strang Report here.
