I’ve written about Loren Cunningham before. He is the dynamic founder of Youth With a Mission, one of the greatest missions organizations of all time. Loren is also the subject of the cover story for the August 2017 issue of Charisma, which has just come off the press.
A couple of months ago, he was in Orlando, and I interviewed him in preparation for the story. Taylor Berglund did an outstanding job of writing it from material I had collected. I decided since I had the opportunity to interview Loren Cunningham, it would be good to record our discussion for later use.
Below, you can click on a very interesting podcast in which Loren talked about his vision for beginning this worldwide missions movement, what he hopes for its future and what he believes God is doing in the world.
Visionaries always inspire me. I’ve had the privilege of knowing a number of them, including two he referred to on the podcast—David Wilkerson and David Duplesi. I also knew Dr. Bill Bright and a number of other leaders who have built great organizations. But to me, Loren Cunningham stands head and shoulders above the rest. At 82, he’s still going strong and has a vision for the future.
I encourage you to listen to the podcast, be inspired and believe God for a vision for your own life and circumstances.
Be sure to share this with friends who might benefit from Loren’s inspiring words. {eoa}
