I must tell you what Jesus has spoken in my heart. I feel the fire of the Holy Spirit right now as I write.
I have a prophetic word for you. Zion is calling you.
I felt the Holy Spirit lead me to Jeremiah 31:1-7. As I was reading, I could see the body of Christ during this pandemic. Watch this.
Verse 1 says that God is the God of all families. He’s a family God. God loves family.
The number one thing the enemy has fought against is family. God is concerned about your family. Jesus is interceding for your marriage; He is interceding for your children, too. God wants you to trust Him in your moments of anxiety, pain and fear.
God specifically calls out the people (families) who “survived the sword.” I looked up the Hebrew word for sword and you will be amazed by what it means. Hereb̠ is the word for sword in Hebrew and it means: a long, iron sword typically double-edged, i.e., sharpened on both sides—deadly coming in or going out, or if swung to the right or the left.
Then the Lord spoke to my heart how this pandemic has been “Hereb sword,” double edged, deadly coming in and deadly going out, swinging from right to left.
In 2020 and 2021, the pandemic was the “sword.” The virus is getting weaker—we hope—but still in 2022 COVID has brought death. There has been devastation. There has been pain, grief and loss. But God is speaking. He is speaking to the ones who “survived.”
If you are reading this, then you are the one who survived. Listen to what God is saying to you.
This is what I hear the Lord saying over you:
“You have found grace in My sight. I have I loved you with an everlasting love. With loving-kindness I have drawn you to Myself. I will build you back up, and your life will be rebuilt. Everything that the double-edged sword tore down and destroyed in your life, I will build it back up myself.
“Get ready. You will feel like ‘decking out,’ dressing up again, you will be adorned and will sing and dance again. You will rejoice again. You will plant and eat the harvest. There is coming a day when everyone will cry out, ‘let’s go up to Zion’ (a place to meet with God, the kingdom of God, the presence of God) and you will be filled with the presence of God and rejoice again.”
God is calling you to Zion. The mountain of the Lord. The presence of God. I feel the Holy Spirit as I am typing this out. God is saying that you have found grace, love and kindness, and that He is about to restore what you have lost. God is about to upset the enemy.
Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) says, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Did you hear that? The pandemic was a “two-edged sword.” but the Word of God is sharper than a “two-edged sword.”
“Greater is He who is in Me than he that is in the world.”
The Word of God is sharper than the two-edged sword and is more powerful than the pandemic, racial wars, political wars, church hurt, death, suicide, pain and loss.
STOP and take a moment to understand this word about the sword of the spirit.
LOOK and see that God is at work. Even so now.
LISTEN to what Jesus is saying and hear the Word of the Lord.
Jesus is bringing families back to Him. Zion is calling. He’s calling families. How will you know?
You will know by the love you feel. You will feel so overwhelmed with love and grace. God is calling you to a higher praise. A praise that says, “I know He loves me.” A praise that says, “I know He is working things together for my good. I know He will not fail me.” A praise that says, “Victory belongs to us, and revival is in the air.”
The Holy Spirit is fanning the flames even now. If you have felt a double-edged sword of intense grief or pain, or if you have felt torn down, unloved, looked over, not important, undeserving, struck down and abandoned, then this word is for you. There is double coming back to you for all the trouble.
In the most powerful name of Jesus, I pray this over you. May God bless you. I pray that God, who gives peace, will make you completely holy. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept healthy and faultless until our Lord Jesus Christ returns (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
