Recently, in a time of early morning prayer the Lord spoke to me and said, “Stay the course.”
When the Lord spoke this to me I knew exactly what it meant. Many of us look for and expect the big breakthroughs, the major shifts, the sudden miracles to come without much difficulty or process.
Everything worth having in life comes with opposition. Don’t let the opposition throw you; stay the course. It is important for us to remember that the process that we go through in order to get to the promise is what helps us to steward and value the promise when it comes. We must be just as excited about the process as we are the promise. No process, no promise.
Many times, when we are waiting for breakthrough, we can feel tempted to quit or give up. However, I believe that this next season is going to be a season of fulfilled promises coming to pass. This is why we must each stay the course.
Keep moving forward. Don’t give up. Remain faithful as you wait; your breakthrough is coming. I believe this season may not be about launching into something brand new, but about simply staying the course. God answers our faithfulness and obedience with His power.
Build what God has placed in your hands. God is expanding those who will stay the course and endure the process. Stay in the Word of God and stay in the place of prayer and you will get to your destiny.
Keep your relationship with the Lord strong and listen for His voice. He will keep you focused on where you are going and in His perfect timing you will reach your appointed purpose and destiny.
Stay the course. Make sure you are aligned with the right people in this season. Make sure you are focused on the Lord and on what He has promised you. He will do every single thing He has promised you He would do.
You may be praying for a prodigal son or daughter to come home. Keep praying and stay the course. You may be believing for financial breakthrough. Keep sowing seed, being a good steward, and stay the course. You may be waiting for a miracle for you or a loved one—keep believing and stay the course!
When God delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt, He did not lead them into the wilderness just to leave them there. God always brings us out of one thing to lead us into something else. Don’t take the wilderness for granted, but also, don’t stay there. Stay the course! {eoa}
