If you’ve noticed, there has been an increase in teaching and demonstrations regarding healing in the church. I believe that this is due to the Lord’s strong desire to heal in this hour. The Lord’s nature or heart is to heal “nouns” (people, places and things). The wonderful thing about Him is that, according to Scripture, He doesn’t change. It’s still His will to heal you. It’s your bread as a child of the King’s, something that belongs to you. It’s your divine right to expect and receive wholeness in every area of your life! Why shouldn’t you? He is the Lord who healeth thee (Jehovah Rapha).
Expect Wholeness in Every Area of Your Life
I see a balm beginning to cover the land. There will be an increase in believers facing life-threatening diseases being miraculously healed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Even after being cured, the Lord will “download” instructions for staying healed. Illnesses can and will return if we don’t heed the wisdom, admonishment and counsel of God. Our health and wholeness must be maintained even after sickness has been rebuked. When Jesus healed the impotent man at the pool of Bethesda, He warned him about continuing doing things that God did not approve of.
“After these things Jesus finds him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou art become well: sin no more, that something worse do not happen to thee. The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well” (John 5:14-15, DARBY).
Though the impotent man relied on men to get healed, he learned that it had to come from Jesus. Your dependence should not be placed solely on others, but the Lord. I believe it’s a sin to place all your confidence in men. Sin opens the door to worse things happening. There are persons whom the Lord will tell to change their diet, start an exercise program, rest or lower their stress levels. In some cases, they don’t heed His directives, the result being that they end up in a worse state. This is the time to do exactly what the Lord instructs in order to maintain your wholeness.
The Oil of Healing
I literally see healing revivals breaking out all over the country, during which many will be delivered from all manner of sickness. The oil of healing has permeated the atmosphere. Those that truly hear the heart of God will echo this sentiment. Books will be written on the subject of healing during this epoch. Leaders will feel led to minister and elaborate on the subject. In return, they will see it (healing) manifest in their own ministries.
Don’t Ask to Be Healed; Decree It
Oftentimes, we’re not healed because we ask for it instead of appropriating it. What I mean by this is that a great number people who were healed in Scripture were people who made statements based in faith instead of asking questions. For example, the woman with the issue of blood (Matt. 9:20-22) said within herself, “If I may just touch His garment, I shall be healed” (Matt. 9:21b, MEV).
Once she made this decree inwardly and touched Jesus’ robe, her faith made her whole outwardly. Notice that Jesus didn’t intentionally heal her, her faith did. Her decree, though it was mentally stated, had faith as its foundation. That faith caused her to move. Her touch pulled virtue (power) out of our Lord, and she was healed.
The centurion soldier said in Matthew 8:8, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But speak the word only, and my servant will be healed.” He made a statement, and his servant was healed in that self-same hour! In some cases, Jesus was the one asking the infirmed questions, putting them in position to make statements in reference to their health. Stop asking to be healed and start decreeing it. If you decree a thing, it will be established (Job 22:28).
Healed Through Praise
I see people getting healed not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. There is a revival that will come in the midst of our praise. In fact, I see people actually getting cured during anointed praise and worship! As long as the fires of revival blaze, we will see signs, wonders and miracles. There will be numerous people who will testify that it was the Lord who healed them of cancer, heart disease, AIDS, diabetes and a host of demonic ailments.
Deliverance From the Spirit of Sickness
Many will experience deliverance from evil spirits, which will result in illnesses being automatically evacuated from their bodies. The enemy usually attempts to stricken the body so that we’re unable to function in our duties toward Christ. Throughout the New Testament, there were cases in which demons attacked the victim’s well-being, inflicting atrocious diseases. Since the infirmity originated from an evil spirit, it needed to be addressed spiritually in the form casting out devils. Sickness and deliverance are mutually exclusive. When there’s one, the other is not far behind. Some stay in their conditions due to not receiving proper and balanced deliverance ministry.
“But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” (Matt. 17:21).
This Scripture applies to the spirit of infirmity as well. Evil spirits can be cast out, but some are more robust than others. Times of prayer and fasting are need in order to deal with these high-ranking entities. When this happens, healing and deliverance are the primary outcomes! This is the season to decree the healing that Jesus Christ has already appropriated for us. It is literally and spiritual the children’s bread. This is your season to walk in wholeness as never before, but it’s contingent on the words that proceed out of your mouth. It’s your season to declare healing in faith, so that it can be established in you. Selah! {eoa}
