Is the heat on in your life? Do you feel like you’re being pulled, stretched and your heart torn up? Are you in a dire situation, stuck between a rock and a hard place—and looking to God for a miracle?
If so, I want to remind you today of these two passages:
“A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth, but the soul of the unfaithful feeds on violence” (Prov. 13:2)
And …
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Prov. 18:21).
I want to bring these two passages to your attention today, because the Lord recently gave me a word for you if you need a miracle.
The Lord said these seven words to me:
“There is a miracle in your mouth.”
It’s a simple word, but it doesn’t need to be complex to carry God’s power. One word from God can change everything. You don’t need a whole chapter from the Bible when God speaks. You don’t even have to have a whole verse! When Jesus Christ says something, all you need Him to say is one word:
“Rise.”
“Healed.”
“Delivered.”
“Free.”
“Go.”
One word from the Lord makes all the difference. But He gave me these seven words, and seven is the perfect number of God. “There is a miracle in your mouth.”
Beloved, you need to open your mouth today and say, “God, I’m ready for my miracle. I receive my miracle now, in Jesus’ name.” For it is a time of new beginnings, and this is what the Lord says to you today:
“This is the time to be restored and refreshed,” says God. “The heat is on, but help is on the way.”
You may be feeling some heat in your life, but God told me to tell you, “You may be feeling some heat, but let Me tell you: Help is on the way. Get ready, because good news is coming from the north. Get ready, because good news is coming from the unexpected arctic breeze.” (Keep in mind that God Himself sits on the sides of the north, according to Psalm 48:2 and Isaiah 14:13.)
Have you ever been part of an arctic breeze that swept in? That’s what’s getting ready to happen.
This heat you’re in is getting ready to leave, and a miracle is on its way. You’ve been praying; you’ve been waiting; you’ve been confessing; you’ve been speaking; you’ve been believing. But God says, “Get ready. A miracle is on its way, and it is in your mouth.”
The Lord wants you to know today that if you’re not speaking His Word out, you won’t see His work manifest. And if you’re not “seeing it,” it’s because you’re not “saying it.” So you had better say it!
The Lord also says to you today:
“For I am in your midst,” says the Lord. “I am here. I am here with power; I am here with healing; I am here with freedom. There is nothing that you are going through that I am not aware of, and that I didn’t go through.
“I am here to uphold you. I am here to comfort you. I am here to say, ‘Fear not, for I am with you; and I will go with you always, even to the end of the age—even to the end of the world (Matt. 28:20).’
“For when you look around you, and you see in the natural all of the things that are going on, your heart’s cry to Me is, ‘Come!’ And I say to you also, ‘Come.’ Come to Me, and I will in no wise cast out (John 6:37),” says God.
“It doesn’t matter what you’ve done; I will come to you if you come to Me. Those of you who are thirsty, come. Those of you who are hungry, come. Those of you who are lost, come. Those of you who are fearful, come (Isa. 55:1). And I will give peace.
“The peace I give is a peace the world cannot give,” says God.
“It is a peace that passes all understanding. And I have told you in My Word that in this world you will have trouble; but, be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world (John 16:33).
“I will never leave My children. I will never abandon you. I will go with you. And I am here to lift you; I am here to come alongside you. I am here to encourage you in My faith—in the faith that stands in the face of everything that comes against Me and My Word.
“I say to you today, My church, rise. My church, rise. For I am infiltrating you with power to withstand all of the devil’s onslaughts. I have given you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. I am with you,” says God. “So come to Me, and I will come to you. Draw nigh to Me, and I will draw nigh to you,” says God.
I encourage you to join me in responding to the Lord today with this prayer of thanksgiving:
“Lord, we want to say thank You. Thank You for bringing us through another week.
“When we think about what could have happened, should have happened, and would have happened, but it didn’t—we thank You. It was Your hand that protected us. It was Your grace that kept us. It was Your protection that was there. It was Your peace and grace that kept us so we didn’t lose our minds. It was Your peace that kept us under the wings and the shelter of the Almighty God.
“So Lord, we take time to lift our hands to You together today and say, ‘Thank You.’ Thank You for waking us up. Thank You for giving us breath to breathe. It’s Your breath in our lungs, and we do pour out our praise to You for Your breath.
“So, Father, we thank You for the good report You have given; and we anticipate that even the bad reports we see or hear are going to become good reports.
“We don’t look at the things that are seen, but we look at the things that are unseen; for the things that are seen are only temporary. So we thank You that You’re protecting us and loving us. Thank You for the beauty of freedom today, where we can fellowship in freedom in the house of the Lord. Thank You that we can sing songs and sing them loudly, lifting our hands without any trepidation. Thank You that we are free to extol You and honor You.
“We join in with the elders in heaven, and we worship You right now, Lord. We join in with the myriads of angels to say holy, holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty. Holy, holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come. We cease not day and night to say, ‘Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.’ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.
“Lord, we don’t get tired of praising You. We don’t get tired of worshiping You. It’s our privilege and honor to lift our voices in worship. When I think about You, Lord:
how they kicked You;
how they beat You;
how they spit in Your face;
how they pulled Your beard out;
how they pulled Your hair out;
how they pierced Your side …
and how You went through all that for me, I thank You. Thank You for allowing us to go through a little heat for You. We count it all joy when we fall into diverse tribulations, Father, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever.
“Lord, together we shout, ‘Hallelujah!’ Thank You, Jesus. Lord, You’re so worthy of all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise. You’ve been so good, and we thank You today and praise Your holy name.
“In Jesus’ mighty and precious name we pray, amen.”
Saint of God, is this word for you today? If so, lay your hands on your own head, pray in the Spirit, and strengthen yourself in the Lord. A refreshing arctic breeze is coming from the throne of God on the sides of the north, and it’s coming to you! Stand fast therefore, and you will see the salvation of the Lord! {eoa}
