One of the things I like best about weekends is lower calendar stress. I’m not in a hurry to get anywhere on time. (Except maybe the tee box.)
Time is a major source of stress.
I continue to re-learn this lesson:
Things will never go as fast as we want them to go.
Everything takes longer.
It’s the goal that matters. Not my self-imposed deadline.
I remember family trips in the car to go see my grandmother. I clearly recall my dad saying when we arrived, “We made good time.” But my thought was We didn’t have a good time getting there.
I hope your Saturday is stress-free. Have a good time getting wherever you want to go … even if it takes a little longer.
