Come Through Into Power

There are times God sits you down and says, “Here are some
things you need to know!” When God brings you into that kind of season, it’s a
very special time. Treasure it! What He teaches you in a season of instruction
will equip you for all that lies ahead.

The children of Israel went on a journey through the
wilderness before they entered their promised land. In this entire journey, God
was working to accomplish one thing: to prepare a people for Himself. He was teaching them that they could trust Him; from
trust He would lead them into the fullness of His promise. He is the same today
and is doing His will the same today. God is working in your life to teach you
and strengthen your faith so that you can enter into the blessing He has
prepared for you.

Break Old Cycles for 2012

chuck-pierce1useIsrael was an example of a corporate group who had to
overcome several things to enter their promised land. The following spiritual
assignment will allow us to move forward into the fullness of God’s plan for
our lives as we look toward 2012.

Make a list of old cycles. Now is the time
to break from any old cycle that has held your promise and destiny in
captivity. Declare that your Passover time of deliverance is now beginning. Ask
God for signs, wonders, and miracles that will intervene in old cyclical
structures of your life.

Women Transforming the World

woman-world-globeEditor’s Note: This article, still applicable today, was originally published in 2000.

Women of God have always been at the center of His purposes. Mothers of faith will play a vital role in establishing the course of Christ’s kingdom.

It
is the dawn of a new millennium—and the start of a significant new day
for women in the church. Speaking as a brother in Christ and a leader in
the global prayer movement, I’m convinced there’s never been a more
interesting, demanding or exciting time to be a Christian woman.

I
believe the almighty God will do incredible things in and through the
female gender during the next decade. And when He does, society better
watch out. A spiritual awakening is on the way!

It’s Time to ‘Go Beyond’!

chuckpierceI am calling you from beyond! You
have been held in a place that I am calling you from. I am beyond where you are
now. Come from where you are to beyond! Come from where you are to beyond!
Come from where you are to beyond!
For I am marshalling My army and I am
calling you forth. I am causing you to be raised up. I am calling even the dry
bones to come together this season. I am calling together and raising up this
mighty army. You will go forth in My name. You will see kingdoms brought down.
You will see kingdoms raised up. This is the season and the hour that I am
marshalling My army.

Never Give In to Self-Pity

Chuck D. PierceThe opposite of confidence and worth is self-pity. Self-pity occurs when we feel we are warranted to receive but get passed by. This can occur in our natural or spiritual life. Self-pity helps define our moment or, may I say, cause us to miss our moment. We feel we are deserving or entitled to a blessing, and we lose faith when we see a blessing slip past our life.

One of the best examples of self-pity is the crippled man at the pool of Bethesda (see John 5). Jesus knew his full condition and then asked the man if he wanted to be healed.

God’s Word on the Gulf Coast Crisis

Chuck D. PierceThe Lord longs for His glory to cover the earth like the waters cover the sea (see Hab. 2:14). The sea of the Gulf of Mexico is now filled with a gunk that represents uncapped resources that are now coming onto our shores. What has opened up is a spewing power that the enemy is accelerating with pressure—a well that can’t be capped by natural means. This has become a supernatural situation. Instead of [our being able to bring] forth the resources of the earth in an efficient way for the benefit of mankind, we are seeing these resources not only out of control but also unrefined and poisonous to the ecology.

Never Give in to Self-Pity

One of the best examples of self-pity is the crippled man at the Pool of Bethesda (see John 5). Jesus knew his full condition and then, through Peter, asked the man if he wished to be healed. The man began to explain why he had not and could not be healed. Jesus seemed to quit listening to his self-pity and healed him anyway.

Self-pity is the opposite of confidence and worth. Self-pity happens when we feel we are warranted to receive but get passed by. This can occur in our natural or spiritual life. Self-pity helps define our moment or, may I say, cause us to miss our moment. We feel we are deserving or entitled to a blessing, and we lose faith when we see a blessing slip past our life.

I Am Raising You Above Your Confusion!

Editor’s Note: Below is a prophecy Chuck Pierce received as he sought the Lord in prayer during the first week of September.

Chuck D. PierceThe Lord is saying: “There is a wind that is beginning to blow the dust from your shelf. You are being called and will be sent forward again.

“There will be fastings in this next season that you didn’t experience in the last season. But the fastings will be for the enlargement of your territory.

“I am beginning to amass My people and join them together in troops. They will be land- and structure-changers. They will find and release those [who] were held captive by old ruling systems and release them to be restored. Many of these captives will be the leaders of My armies in days ahead.

Position Yourself for the Future

Chuck PierceOn Sunday, August 16, I heard the Spirit of God say, “Some of you have had the fight knocked out of you. The Spirit of God is bringing a new wind of strength to cause a new fight to rise up in you. The fight has been knocked out of you because you stayed in an atmosphere too long.”

Anne Tate began to prophesy: “At this time I am breaking old associations and configurations. …”

I then heard the Lord say: “Rise up! Let My atmosphere rise up around you and cut the ties necessary so that I can cause you to fight again and be set into a changing wind. I am breaking down the old structure you’ve been protecting. It is you [who] has been protecting an old structure saying, ‘Remake what I’m comfortable in.’ I’m breaking that down.

A Very Narrow Way

Chuck D. PierceAt early morning prayer [on Tuesday, July 1], I began to prophesy about a very narrow way coming for us. … Here is a portion of the revelation that came forth prophetically. We could hear the Lord saying:

“A new corridor is forming, and I will narrow your way. You must narrow your desires. I am sanctifying desires and narrowing the corridor through which you will walk.

“You are entering into new alignments and assignments, and coming into a place that will bring you forth into a realm you have not known. You will come from a dark place into light, but the corridor that you have been in is beginning to narrow to push you through into the new.

You Can Start Again

There is hope in the middle of darkness. Usually in the midst of our dark times in life, we find ourselves filled with trauma and loss. These elements hide in our very cells. Trauma is like a snapshot from a camera. The picture of the trauma is stored deep in our brains, but the Holy Spirit wants to move in such a way that we are sovereignly delivered. He wants to give us a new perspective on life and the world around us.

When we do not deal with trauma effectively, we allow roots to grow that entangle our feet and keep us from moving forward on our new path of success. Trauma imprinted on our memory systems is also absorbed deep into the tissues of our brain (the processor) and affects our thoughts and our hearts. Trauma becomes the flashbulb that determines what we see and how we define the world around us.
