I was the person, before Christ, who lived in the shadows of the demonic of the witchcraft world. I operated in the highest hierarchy of Satanism and had contracts with demons, principalities, territorial spirits, water spirits, marine spirits and beyond—a relationship with Satan himself.
Today, I stand as an evangelist of the kingdom of my Lord and Savior, preaching the true gospel, setting the captives free. Traveling the world, I bring the true Word of God, destroying the works of darkness, atmospheres and the shadows of the demonic; bringing down satanic altars in regions; and shutting down first and second heavens by the power of the Holy Spirit, who sets the captives free. By way of encouragement, I want to share a bit of my story—and also give you some life-changing, hell-shaking information about the spiritual arsenal that will equip you not only to demolish, destroy and uproot the devil’s weapons but also to shut down the demonic door once and for all.
The Lord gave me the download in my spirit for my new book, Fire Prayers: Building Arsenals That Destroy Satanic Kingdoms, because in many emails and at many altar calls, I see Christians fragmented and spiritually incarcerated, living tormented, hopeless, defeated and depleted lives. My beloved brothers and sisters are in bondage, whether from pornography, depression, oppression or bad decisions. The devil has spiritually incarcerated them and has legal rights in their lives.
In my pre-Christian life, I got to know the devil all too well. In fact, I had many sit-down conversations with him throughout my 25 years of involvement in the occult. I operated in the spirit realm, and people could not detect or monitor me as I stood in their blind spots to curse them completely. It was witchcraft to the highest levels in the demonic kingdom. I thank God, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, every day that He did not allow me to stay there.
I believe that in every generation God elevates a person to display His majesty and power. He did it with Saul, who was renamed and became the apostle Paul. Throughout the centuries, He has done it with many other people, such as Nicky Cruz and David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam. Today Berkowitz’s name is the Son of Hope, and he is a great friend of mine and a brother in Christ.
Divine Connections
God is no respecter of persons, and I would love to encourage you by sharing my heart. I came from a broken home, and my father was shot and killed at the age of 33. My mom was both a mom and a dad to me, and she is my hero.
As I mentioned before, I came from a world of the highest level of the satanic. I lived in the ghettos of the South Bronx for many years. I grew up on government cheese and food stamps, and there is no shame to that at all. That’s how I know that God reveals Himself in the broken places, the fragmented places, the places of despair and brokenness. Jesus Christ is present in power whether you live in the projects of the South Bronx or East Los Angeles or in a mansion in Beverly Hills. Jesus Christ is the CEO of the universe.
Many curses have been broken in my family’s bloodlines. One of the beautiful stories is that of our education. My mom had a fourth-grade education, and my father probably had the same. I barely earned my high school diploma, but I prayed my beautiful daughter, Amanda, through college. Today she holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which proves that these prayers work and the devil knows it. I’m so proud of my daughter, whom I love with all my heart, that she pushed through and never gave up.
Never count yourself out, never give up, never give in—from your environment, the family you were born into or the DNA you inherited. Don’t let any of that define you or limit you. Trust in God; your victory does not depend on where you start but where you finish in Him. The Lord always has a plan for your life.
Through divine appointments and supernatural moments, the Lord Jesus Christ gave me divine connections. He put me together with my dear friend, Pastor Sixto from Tampa, Florida, in a miraculous way. Through this open door, I met a beautiful man in Christ, Dr. Doug Wingate from Life Christian University, whose heart the Lord has touched. I will be receiving a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate degree from Life Christian University, and I am being ordained through this amazing opportunity from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for continuing to write my story. I hope this inspires you never to limit the Lord about yours. When the Lord Jesus Christ is holding the pen of your story, He will write a masterpiece about your life. That is my story and my journey today.
Demonic Destruction
I have written several books under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, yet I know the devil’s playbook like the back of my hand. From the age of 7, I was recruited from the second heaven when a demonic necklace fell from the sky that contained the seven demonic powers of the dark side. At the age of 8, I was ushered into a kingdom of darkness to which nothing from TV or Hollywood could compare. Years later, I even held my wedding on Halloween, complete with demonic, satanic rituals.
The Lord Jesus Christ knew my address in the Bronx in 1999. It boggled my mind that He knew both my street and my apartment number, since I lived in a community of 179 buildings. He came to me one night, and we got into a debate. I told him my daddy, the devil, was bigger than He was.
“If you’re going to prove You’re bigger, prove it tonight or leave me alone,” I said. I then fell into a deep sleep.
While sleeping, I died and ended up on a train bound for hell. In hell, the cross of Calvary showed up, and so did the devil. The cross defeated the devil, and I ended up back in my body and back to life. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, coming out clean and sanctified on the other side of the cross.
The story God has written through my life is amazing. I know that I’m saved for the reason to which demons testify when I cast them out as I pray over people. They scream at me, “We hate you. We’re still trying to kill you. You traitor. You used to work for us, and you left us.” This supernatural testimony displays the power and majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ, who can save anyone, no matter how far gone they think they are.
Throughout my journey, the Lord has blessed me to write amazing spiritual warfare books. But they are nothing like my latest. In life, we have manuals for televisions, computers, microwaves and even brand-new cars. How easily we put our trust in these things to learn and operate technology! But the greatest manual for humanity, hands down, is the Bible. It teaches us how to live, practice and sanctify life with the Creator of the universe. You cannot get a better manual for humanity itself.
The Lord gave me the download in my spirit for Fire Prayers because it, too, is a spiritual warfare manual, one that the devil hates because it exposes his spiritual playbook and weapons. Those weapons include his demonic strategies for entrapment; his setups; his wiles, schemes, plots, hindrances, delays and spiritual blockages.
These are the same prayers I often pray over people during altar calls. People have come into the meetings with an infirmity spirit of stage four cancer with less than six months to live; they leave completely set free, healed from premature death. When they go back to the doctor, not even a trace of the infirmity devil called cancer remains.
Others have come to our meetings with a suicide spirit, straight from mental hospitals. These powerful prayers, along with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, have set them free during altar calls. Fire prayers are true arsenals from heaven!
I remember encountering a woman in Arizona at a conference who was so demon-possessed she couldn’t speak in her own voice. A bishop went over and started to pray for her, yelling from the top of his lungs, “Come out in Jesus’ name.”
“Shut your mouth; you are weak,” the demon spoke back. “You can’t do anything.”
This bishop, well-meaning as he may have been, was not armed with the strategies of heaven. He was throwing all he had into the air—“Come out in Jesus’ name”—with no spiritual backbone from which to cast out this demon.
When I went over to pray for the young woman, the demon looked me straight in the eye and said, “I waited 20 years to confront you, you traitor. You used to work for us.”
“You have more patience than most Christians I know,” I told him. The Bible says, “our fight is not against flesh and blood” (Eph. 6:12a), so I went on the attack. I know the fire prayers to weaken the demon, to shut him up and shut him down. I knew how to deal with the root of the attack. Before long, this wonderful woman was set completely free.
I met another woman in Bakersfield, California. She walked into our meeting, struck down in her lungs with COVID-19, walking with a portable oxygen tank and tubes leading to her nose. As I prayed for her, I understood the spiritual state she was in, and I bound the strong man of the spirit of infirmity that was destroying her lungs. I released fire prayers upon those devils. I have pictures to prove that she stomped all over the oxygen tank and walked out of there without it, completely set free.
This is the spiritual DNA of fire prayers: destroying satanic kingdoms and setting the captives free in Jesus’ mighty name. I wrote the manual because, although I can physically go to many places where the Holy Spirit leads me, this book can go around the world to equip the saints. With the equipping it offers, any given day will be a bad day for the devil.
Abundant Life
In the Old Testament, they called God “The Lord of Armies.” David said that the Lord “trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle” (Ps. 144:1b, NIV). Jesus Christ left the church here to finish His mission, to be armed and dangerous—a spiritual warfare church, a kingdom that will not be shaken, moved or compromised. We are called to be the bride, the body and the army. As I often tell people, instead of stiletto heels, the bride must wear combat boots.
Many of us love to talk about spiritual warfare, but we don’t confront the enemy. We would rather live a life in masquerade, putting makeup on our pain, dressing up and putting on a smile and having our Christian language ready to go. But when we do this, we walk around fragmented, hopeless and defeated.
We are living in a time of demonic fears on every level in society and in our culture. Learning how to pray fire prayers will teach you to deal with this kind of demonic torment, not only to destroy it completely but to stop fear in your spirit, your mind, your heart, your words and in your thinking. That is how you become more than a conqueror in Christ.
I also teach arsenal prayers to drive demons out of your home, spiritual warfare declarations to pray over your children, prayers to protect your children from demonic attacks, prayers for self-deliverance and prayers to destroy witchcraft against your church. These are just a few of the many powerful fire prayers that will destroy and demolish—once and for all—the kingdom of darkness and the devil himself.
Knowing the truth will set you free. In fact, the truth is God’s No. 1 weapon. The devil’s weapon is false reality. These two weapons are wielded parallel to each other. We need to have great discernment so we know how to stand with the Lord Jesus Christ.
I want to equip you to pray violent, effective prayers to make the devil nervous and defeat him in his own spiritual battlefield—in other words, to pray with courage, faith and boldness. The devil wants you to pray with fear, doubt and unbelief. When we pray fire prayers, we pray with the answer—we don’t pray with the question mark.
I also want to train you in how to walk with authority, anointing and Holy Spirit fire to melt down every weapon of the enemy. Learning to pray fire prayers will help you live the abundant life, the life Jesus gave us before the foundation of the earth.
These prayers are not vague or easy-going. Learning to pray them will teach, equip and train you to confront the enemy of your soul and achieve your victory in Jesus’ mighty name. You will become a spiritual gangster, a Holy Ghost sniper and a special ops warrior in the kingdom of Jesus Christ who can destroy the demonic targets in the devil’s camp that have your name on them. We often aim and shoot in the spirit realm, but we miss our spiritual target. We miss the moment to destroy the works of darkness in and through our lives.
Fasting is another powerful weapon. Its purpose is not only to help us hear from the Lord—we should already know His voice—but also to dissolve and uproot every hindrance from our outer man, or carnal flesh, that the devil seeks to use against us. I have bad news for him: I’m coming at you with my fasting weapons, and I’m going to run you over in Jesus’ mighty name.
I love the story of the seven sons of Sceva (Acts 19:11-20). I know they needed the tools I teach because the demon said to them, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” (v. 15b, MEV). Once you have fire prayers in your arsenal by having them in your spirit and learning how to use them, the devil will know your name—not because he owns spiritual real estate over you, but because he’s terrified of you. He will realize you know how to fight the good fight.
Get your arsenal ready. Get your spiritual warfare mindset ready and arm yourself with these supernatural tools. Tell the devil, “Stay right where you are; I’m coming for you in Jesus’ mighty name.”
In the Olympics of old, people ran with a lit torch. The one who finished the race first was not the one who won the prize; the winner was the one who finished with the torch still lit. Let that story become your story, carrying forth a torch ignited with fire prayers.
God has called us to live on the side of victory. He did not call us to be chicken-coop Christians; He called us to be eagles. The apostle Paul knew spiritual warfare at its best. At the end of his life, he said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course” (2 Tim. 4:7a). I hope and pray that every believer will be able to say the same.
