Ex-Church Secretary Facing 280 Years in Prison

A former church secretary in Louisa, Virginia, may spend the rest of her life in prison after being convicted of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from her longtime place of worship. Brenda W. Ragland, 64, who has been a member and employee of the unnamed church for over 20 years, was found guilty on Monday of 14 counts of embezzlement. Each count carries a potential maximum sentence of 20 years, adding up to a possible 280 years behind bars.

The church discovered Ragland’s alleged misconduct when attempting to donate funds to support another local congregation’s building project earlier this year. Unable to locate Ragland to retrieve a necessary bank letter, church officials reached out to their financial institution directly. To their shock, they learned their account lacked the funds needed for the donation.

“It is a sad day for the church,” said Louisa Commonwealth’s Attorney Rusty McGuire, emphasizing the trust the church had placed in Ragland. “They put their faith in Mrs. Ragland to manage the church resources, and she violated that faith by turning church resources into her personal piggy bank.”

The Department Store Canceling the Word ‘Christmas’

Department store Neiman Marcus is canceling the word ‘Christmas‘ from their annual catalog.

As Fox News reported, Neiman Marcus’ “Christmas Book,” which has been around since 1926, will this year be known as their “Holiday Book.” The design of the catalog cover for 2024 says “A Neiman’s Fantasy.”

The new take on the “Christmas Book” comes after what Fox says includes changes from supposedly unpopular new CEO, Geoffroy van Raemdonck.

LA Marzulli: The Spiritual Deception Behind Yoga

In a recent video, L.A. Marzulli uncovered the deceptive spirits behind yoga, gurus and the third eye.

“I was like 21 and I was with the guru for three years and I left everything and moved into the Ashra,” Marzulli says. “My third eye was open, I tasted so-called divine nectar, I heard the primordial word of God and divine music.”

Marzulli points out that his experiences from before Christ come from the same deception of the devil that he has been attempting since the Garden of Eden. He also warns Christians that meditation positions open up the doors to serpent spirits, and that “Christian yoga” is quite oxymoronic.
