In one of his latest video clips, Isaiah Saldivar tackled the question of what a Christian should do if they are seeing dark spirits in the supernatural realm.

Receiving a call from a woman named Esther, Saldivar answered the question of how she should proceed forward with her ability to see in the spiritual realm.
Esther spent most of her life being able to see in the spiritual realm, including terrifying, demonic entities. She says it was such a huge weight on her that she ultimately asked the Lord to take this burden off of her. However, she became worried that by asking for this, she grieved the Holy Spirit, fearing she won’t hear from Him anymore.
Saldivar explained to Esther that asking God to lift the overwhelming nature of seeing demonic spirits was not a bad thing, but rather something God understands.

“I had a similar experience when I first got saved,” Saldivar says. “When I first got saved I was seeing demons everywhere, angels everywhere, and I was so overwhelmed.”
Saldivar says he asked the Lord to help him control this ability. While he will sometimes see things when ministering to others, he does not see spiritual figures around him all the time.
“I don’t think that you quenched the Holy Spirit,” Saldivar says to Esther. “It is overwhelming just the fact that you know how real the spiritual realm is.”
Saldivar also pointed out that Esther hearing or not hearing from God as much in this current season doesn’t necessarily relate directly to her insight into the spiritual realm.
“There are seasons where the Lord isn’t speaking as clear as He is in other seasons,” says Saldivar. “I look at those as times of growing, times of enduring, times of God shaping us, times of weaning us off of always needing to hear His voice.”
Saldivar likens these times to a child taking a test at school. During the times of testing, the teacher stays silent.
“Sometimes when we’re being tested, it feels like the Lord is silent. It’s not that He’s silent, it’s that He’s taking us through a testing season and He wants to see if we’re going to make it out, if we’re going to have faith even when He’s not speaking,” says Saldivar.
The darkness of the spiritual realm is real, but the power of Christ is still so much greater than we could ever think or imagine. It is by His power and strength that we are made new and whole. So no matter what season you find yourself in, God is still on the throne and He has a great plan and a purpose for your life.
