Missler warns that Christians must be vigilant, especially as recent events, including UFO congressional hearings, appear to confirm his concerns.
Missler believed that the surge of unexplained phenomena, such as UFO sightings, was linked to spiritual, end times deception. He referred to 2 Thessalonians 2:11 which tells of a great delusion in the last days, emphasizing, “We are being plunged into a period of time about which the Bible says more than any other period in history.” This period, according to Missler, is marked by widespread spiritual confusion and the proliferation of false teachings, which will attempt to deceive even believers.

This sounds a lot like the days we live in now, and Missler’s words are 15 years old.
During the interview, Missler suggests that many of these supernatural occurrences could be demonic in nature.

“The principalities and powers of darkness are manipulating these events,” he warns. This poses a serious threat, as it is easy for people to get swept up in the mysteries and intrigue of such phenomena without seeking the truth through Scripture.
The recent UFO hearings in Congress, as well as a myriad supernatural sightings, have reignited discussions about the existence of extraterrestrial life, adding weight to Missler’s warnings. For Christians today, this growing interest in the supernatural and unexplained is a crucial reminder of the need for discernment. “We need to rely on the Word of God,” Missler urges, emphasizing that only biblical wisdom can protect believers from the deceptions of Satan in these turbulent times.
Christians must be prepared to combat these spiritual lies using Scripture. The Bible warns in 2 Corinthians 11:14 that “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” Ephesians 6:11-12 further reminds believers to “put on the full armor of God” to stand against the schemes of the devil. Missler’s insights call on Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, equipping themselves with biblical truth to navigate the end times with wisdom and discernment.
