5 Key Signs to Identifying a Christian Narcissist
Narcissism can be challenging to identify, especially when cloaked in Christian language and behaviors.
Kris Reece, a Christian life coach and author, recently shared insights into identifying “Christian narcissists,” individuals who use their faith to manipulate and control others. In one of her recent videos, Reece outlines five key traits to watch for, offering guidance rooted in biblical teachings.
- Lack of True Emotional Intimacy
Reece warns that Christian narcissists struggle with genuine emotional connections. “Trying to connect emotionally with a narcissist is like watering a plastic plant; no matter how much you pour, it’ll never grow,” she says. This mirrors the Bible’s call for genuine love, as seen in Romans 12:9, “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.”

7 Reasons ‘The Bible Tells Me So’ Does Not Work for the New Generation
In today’s society, it can be easy to wonder where all the church-goers have gone. After the pandemic in 2020, many people who went to church never came back. However, is it just because people got used to the comfort of their homes on Sunday morning, or is there another reason why people have fled the church?
Here are seven reasons why the next generation is abandoning the church.
- Modern American society is about a lifestyle of hustle and bustle.
From hobbies, health, jobs and the desire to seek spirituality on their own, our culture does not make community within a church priority.
So many people believe that hell, Satan and demons are just a joke or fantasy. They base their belief on the lies they have heard taught by other deceived people or on their feelings.
The Bible tells us Satan deceives unbelievers. Are you one of the deceived? Satan, who is the god of this world, “has blinded the minds of those who do not believe” (2 Cor. 4:4b). And Revelation 12:9 (NKJV) says, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
If you continue to believe hell and demons are fake, then you are saying Jesus Christ is a liar. Jesus said the devil is real. “If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?” (Matt. 12:26).
